RED ALERT--The bastards are after our internet again

It looks like that PCIP bill is making progress through the House right now.[LINK]

I posted a few weeks ago about the “Protect Children from Internet Pornographers Act of 2011.” They called it that because they know that politicians can’t afford to be seen as being supportive of child pornography. But this bill requires Internet Service Providers to log all of their customer’s internet browsing habits and keep those records for 12 months so that law enforcement officials can browse them whenever they want. We are to be treated as criminals by default. Any private information you send over the internet such as emails and medical information would be stored by third parties. The cops need warrants to search your house for physical records, they should need a warrant to order ISPs to log your digital records for them as well.
You know the drill, write and call your Congress people, tell everyone you know about this, etc. I hope the internet has another major protest in it or we’ll probably lose this fight. And while you’re at it, look in to ACTA. It’s just as bad if not worse than SOPA.

Should we just start saving template letters and filling in the Bullshit Bill Of The Moment?
