With apologies to Edgar Friendly

"I've seen the future, pal.  Ya know what it is?  It's a twenty-seven year old virgin sittin' alone in his flannel onesie, drinkin' a cup of hot chocolate and thinkin' about health insurance!!"

The system isn't broken...

(WARNING:  Harsh, but very deserved, language)

The system is working exactly the way it's supposed to--you just don't understand its true purpose.

Twenty years ago I was a libertarian. I thought the system could be reformed. I thought that some parts of it "worked"… whatever that means. I thought that the goals were noble, even if not often achieved.

The older I get, the more I see, the more I read, the more clear it becomes to me that the entire game is rigged. The leftists and the rightists each see half of the fraud. The lefties correctly note that a poor kid caught with cocaine goes to jail, while a Bush can write it off as a youthful mistake (they somehow overlook the fact that their man Barrack hasn't granted clemency to any one of the people doing federal time for the same felonies he committed). The righties note that government subsidized windmills kill protected eagles with impunity while Joe Sixpack would be deep in the crap if he even picked up a dead eagle from the side of the road. The lefties note that no one was prosecuted over the financial meltdown. The righties note that the Obama administration rewrote bankruptcy law on the fly to loot value from GM stockholders and hand it to the unions. The lefties note that Republicans tweak export rules to give big corporations subsidies. Every now and then both sides join together to note that, hey! the government is spying on every one of us…or that, hey! the government stole a bunch of people's houses and gave them to Pfizer, because a privately owned for-profit corporation is apparently what the Constitution means by "public use".

What neither side seems to realize is that the system is not reformable. There are multiple classes of people, but it boils down to the connected, and the not connected. Just as in pre-Revolutionary France, there is a very strict class hierarchy, and the very idea that we are equal before the law is a laughable nonsequitr.

Folks, it's time to face the facts.  As I've said time and again, we're not voting our way out of this.  Do you now understand why?

I'm getting dizzy.

Sultan Knish explains the foundations of the so-called "intelligence" that Oppressives are convinced they have.  It would be laughable if it weren't so pathetic:

Liberal intelligence exists on the illusion of its self-worth. The magical thinking that guides it in every other area from economics to diplomacy also convinces it that if it believes it is smart, that it will be. The impenetrable liberal consensus in every area is based on this delusion of intelligence. Every policy is right because it's smart and it's smart because it's progressive and it's progressive because smart progressives say that it is.

Progressives manufacture the consensus of their own intelligence and insist that it proves them right.

Imagine a million people walking in a circle and shouting, "WE'RE SMART AND WE'RE RIGHT. WE'RE RIGHT BECAUSE WE'RE SMART. WE'RE SMART BECAUSE WE'RE RIGHT." Now imagine that these marching morons dominate academia, the government bureaucracy and the entertainment industry allowing them to spend billions yelling their idiot message until it outshouts everyone else while ignoring the disasters in their wake because they are too smart to fail.

RTWT.  This is why you can't have any sort of debate with Oppressives.  They're terminally convinced of their own overwhelming intelligence, and they don't need no stinkin' evidence to prove it.  They've voluntarily rejected objective reality in favor of a horribly overinflated and completely undeserved sense of superiority.  They're willfully insane, and therefore, attempting to introduce them to logic and reason is on the level of pissing on a forest fire.

There's no reasoning with the insane, so let's just ignore these fools and get on with our lives.

From Kalifornia, even...

This Assemblyman hits it square on the head:

Not since 1776 have Americans had more cause to revolt. The long train of abuses number far more than the original 26 levied against one tyrannical king: King George. Today, tens of thousands of tyrants rule over legions of government agents, whose sole purpose has become perpetuating and growing their state-sanctioned fiefdom.

...If you want to control where people live and work, you must control the water supply. It is that simple. From there you can control almost every aspect of their lives. It does not take a genius to see how diabolical a government can become when they control the money supply, the food supply and now the water supply.

...This arrogant disregard for the Constitutional restraints on government’s power is endemic. A year ago, it was the DHS study that identified the greatest terrorist threat was you; if you are a member of a patriot group, if you oppose abortion or if you love liberty too much. So when that agency buys billions of rounds of ammo while trying to take away my right to defend myself and my family and my freedom, I become even more skeptical of government.

RTWT.  Sums everything up nicely.

Now...what are we going to do about it?

Context is everything

Great observations on Phil Robertson's commentary:

In essence Phil was trying to convey the idea that sin separates us all from God, anyone’s sin, including his own, and society’s increasing acceptance of sin means that they are warring against God. He put homosexuals on no different footing than any other person, including himself.

Emphasis mine.  Seriously, RTWT.

Why we laugh at them

I'm going to show you two pictures.  These were taken in the restroom of a government warehouse.

Not a public building, mind you--a warehouse.  Somewhere you wouldn't expect anyone but government employees to be.

I shit you not, this is true.

These are the people who think they're qualified to run our lives.  Not only do they have to be reminded not to drink out of the toilets, and not only do the toilets have to be flushed automatically(are they incapable of understanding the concept of a flush handle?), but they didn't even remember to refill the butt-gasket dispenser.

T.L. DAVIS IS BACK!!

Now, this is what I call a Christmas present!!

As the first post on this new blog I thought it appropriate to explain a little about its purpose and point of view.

I have been deeply involved in one way or another in the fight for liberty the past decade and generally involved in the struggle since the late 1980's. I wrote a booklet called the Constitutionalist and while that helped some to understand the fight, it did not do enough. I have organized events in Washington DC, to no avail. I have written extensively about the legal case for the Constitution and against the tyrants in government and the tyranny has only picked up momentum.

All the while I have known deep down that it went further than some document scratched out by the founders in the heat of a Philadelphia summer.

Welcome back, brother!!

13 December 2013

Mr. Williamson appears a bit irked.

And I can't blame him.  The fact that this Bateman asshole even got into the United States military is a nauseating indictment of how far down the road to Hell we've traveled.

So, the list of things you suck at includes law, business, and being a military officer.  You're good at throwing tantra, however.  Maybe you should get a job with CAIR or PETA.  They're about your speed.

Seriously, Bob, how the f*ck did you get into the military?  I thought incontinence was a bar to service.  I don't think I've ever encountered a bigger pussy, and I first enlisted in the doldrums of the mid 80s and dealt with USAF supply who hated "camping" with the engineers.

Death threats?  You threaten to ignore the Constitution based on your own retarded misreading, to ignore SCOTUS, threaten military violence against dissenters, and you wonder why you're getting death threats?  Guess what:  That's EXACTLY the purpose of the Second Amendment—so fascistic little shitweasels like yourself can be shot, tossed into a ditch, and anointed with beer, after it takes a short detour through our kidneys.  There are about 100 million gun owners and families.  Want to bet on the odds of one of them shooting you down like a rabid dog?

I can only find one bright side(outside of MZW's inspired evisceration):  If this thing is representative of the state of our current military, then come the revolution, our victory will likely be swift and decisive.

06 December 2013

THIS, you dumbasses.

I dig Mark Levin.  I really do.  Unfortunately, he doesn't really understand what we're facing here.  The poor bastard honestly thinks--in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary--that the Thug Regime gives a fart in a windstorm about any sort of rule of law.

Mark, and the rest of you--WAKE THE F*CK UP.

There are more and more people calling for constitutional amendments, or a convention of states.

Let me see if have this right– Those in office aren’t obeying the constitution, so we’re going to change the constitution that they aren’t obeying.

Isn’t that a bit like a “gun free zone” sign, in that those who would obey it aren’t the problem we’re addressing? “We must pass new laws because criminals aren’t obeying the laws” is what we scoff at when it comes from Progressive communists. Now we’re doing it too?

Forest.  Trees.  Head.  Ass.  Little more need be said.

Cloward-Piven: It's on

Readers should be well-familiar with the Cloward-Piven strategy, summed up thusly:

In simplistic terms, the strategy entails manufacturing a crisis and then implementing a solution that actually makes the crisis much worse and moreover, makes implementation of a real solution to the crisis next to impossible; and every solution to the crisis must invariably entail purposefully overwhelming federal government programs in an effort to cause those programs and the federal government to implode under its own weight.

They succeeded.  The collapse is already under way.

Most people don't see it, or don't want to see it, but the math doesn't lie.  It is now literally impossible for us to climb out of the hole that generations of Collectivist insanity have dug us into.  We are now at the beginning of the collapse.  Others have recognized this, in particular commenter HempRopeAndStreetlight at the domain of The Wise And Enlightened His Royal Majestic Graciousness Emperor Misha I May He Live For Ten Thousand Years.  Go read the whole thing and I'll be here when you get back...

In political terms, this “Leviathan” is for all intents and purposes untouchable – short of a complete socioeconomic collapse of our society. No politician -or even coalition of politicians – has the power to do away with them, and this is by deliberate design. The beast is so entrenched in public, private, and corporate America – and has bribed the willing support of so much of the sheeple and crony corporatists – that, to be blunt, any talk of somehow trimming it down is fiction. It’s a pleasant flight of fancy to be sure, and boy it sure would be great if liberty foolishly tossed aside could be won so effortlessly.

So, what do we do?

We accept God's judgment.

Now, I know this is going to sound a bit apocalyptic to my non-believing readers, but hear me out with an open mind.  The United States was conceived in Rightful Liberty.  We were a nation of righteous, honorable, decent, hard-working, civilized people.  We respected truth and shunned liars.  We put our faith in God, not men.  We worked for what we had and imprisoned those who would steal.  We helped the legitimately unfortunate and had no tolerance for parasites.  We laid down a foundation of laws--the Constitution--and demanded that all men abide by them.  When we did these things, when we were these people, our nation prospered.  Ergo, these things were pleasing to God.  That was the USA.  Was.

Now, this country is self-absorbed, egotistical, hedonistic, entitlement-minded, lazy and willfully ignorant.  "A nation of laws, not men" has become a nation of anarchy, where laws are ignored and enforced according to personal and political cronyism.  These are things offensive to God, and pleasing to Satan.  This explains why things are going to Hell in this country.  The USA has become the USSA--the United Satanic States of America.

God has apparently mellowed out over the past few millennia.  He's not likely to rain fire and brimstone on us(well, maybe on Washington DC, one can hope).  He's set it up so that turning from righteousness will bring destruction upon us automatically, and that's what we've done.  Even those of us who try to be decent people are to blame.  We have allowed this collections of fools, maniacs and possible demons to infest our entertainment industry, our information industry, or schools and our government.  We didn't do enough.  We woke up too late.  And now, the entirely predictable consequences of our actions are upon us.

So be it.  Remember, the collapse will not destroy the USA.  That country is long dead.  The collapse will destroy the USSA, as well it should.  As I've said, we're already in the beginning stages.  The middle is really going to suck--for how long, there's no telling.  But eventually, it will end.

Then what?

Well, that's what we have to prepare for(you did read the linked post, right?):

Carefully consider everything you’d need care for your family if the infrastructure in this nation takes a shit. Don’t assume you’ll get water if you turn on the facet, power when you flip on the lights, or gas when you trip the furnace/stove. Think about how you can cope without toilets in a sustainable and comfortable way. Then act on those plans. You can’t pursue revolutionary goals if you can’t first deal with your loved one’s daily living.

Once you have those needs taken care of, start moving outside your blood circle. Networking with friends and acquaintances that have useful skills. Not just military knowledge – electricians, carpenters, plumbers, metal-workers, glass men, farmers, ranchers. You need to start going AROUND the government and it’s goons. Stop using them as an intermediary. (And given the state of affairs, the large companies ad FedGovCo are one in the same).

Barter with these folks where possible – you hurt Fedgov on both sides of the transaction, and right now, our weapons are NOT 5.56, but greenbacks, skirting laws and tax evasion. Form good relationships with the people that keep things running folks – not only do you learn a great deal of useful intelligence, you are making friends who when “scofflaw turns to insurgent” might be inclined to play a role in the axillary.

Communists and collectivists of every stripe, love that whole Cloward-Piven idea.  They figure that when it all falls apart, they're going to step right in there and take over.  This isn't inconceivable, necessarily, but remember that these folks are--and have always been--entirely ignorant of the Law of Unintended Consequences.

On their side, they have a few wannabe tinpot dictators, and a whole army of...what?  Spoiled, self-absorbed, hopelessly dependent, brainwashed idiots.  These people can't think for themselves, they can't do anything for themselves, they can't stand up for anything unless they're backed up by a mob.  If the local Starbuck's is closed, or their internet goes down, they consider it a crisis of Earth-shattering magnitude.  They're completely and utterly helpless.  They're cannon fodder.

On our side?  Veterans, hunters, tradesmen, farmers and other hard-working, self-reliant, independent thinkers.  We know how to build things, how to fix things, how to obtain food, and how to learn new skills.  We stand for the Truth, regardless of popularity.  And we have lots and lots of guns, and we know how to use them.  Who's going to take over, again?

We need to prepare for not just the collapse, but the end of the collapse, when we will have to come out fighting.  That may be our only chance to restore the true USA, a nation that once again recognizes all forms of collectivism as the insane, demonic lie that they've always been.  To return to our "One nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all," with the benefit of learning from our past mistakes.  To give Rightful Liberty a new beginning, that its light should not perish from the Earth.

Through the fire, and out the other side.  That's the only way I see it happening.

The inevitable results of welfare.

I warn you now, folks...Nicki's language can make a truck driver blush.  Steel yourselves for a barrage of cussing, well-deserved though it may be(asterisks mine):

Your boss doesn’t understand why you bother working. After all, she gets to sit around the house all day, visit her friends and smoke weed. All at your expense! “…and we are still gonna get paid, on time every month,” she says. “Can you really blame us” for sitting around on welfare, she says? We get subsidized housing, she says. Our checks come on time every month come hell or high water, she says. Our kids even get gifts for Christmas, she says. Can you blame us?

And yes, this pestilent ********** savage also has an Obama phone, gets food stamps, gets subsidies for water and energy. Her husband doesn’t work very much, because he doesn’t see the need for it. And why should he? The system is there. It’s available. And Lucy has been on welfare her entire life, just like her parents. It’s a generational thing. Why should she work, when the government gives her nearly $1500 per month not to? Why should she make an effort, when the less she does, the more she gets?

This is your boss, America. This indolent, ignorant, entitled, ************ ************, who has **** out three bloodsucking parasites who are also – judging by this family’s history – going to become drains on society. She feels no guilt, and she feels no remorse at being the beneficiary of your hard work, because it’s there.

The domain name of my blog is "productiveclassrevolt."  Does it make more sense now?

I do not consent.

And I haven't for a long, long time.

Not that it matters to our Lords and Masters, but I just want to go on the record as saying, "Fuck you and your illegitimate, unConstitutional Thug Regime straight to Hell on greased rails."

See y'all in Gitmo.

Mrs. Wraith's thought for the day

"Why is everyone getting all uptight about putting their information on the Obamacare websites, when the NSA knows everything anyway?"

Sadly, a very good point.

Thought for the day

Most people won't much care if they succeed, if they aren't allowed to fail.

13 November 2013

The Six Word Solution

OK, folks...I'm gonna solve every single problem facing America.  Nay, the world.  And all it will take is six words.  Take notes.  Ready?

Stop doing stuff that doesn't work.

Really.  That simple.

Healthcare used to be affordable for almost everybody.  Then the government got involved and carved loopholes and exemptions for the medical industry, annihilating any real competition and allowing them to become what basically amount to cartels.  Then they pushed through HMOs.  Then they pushed through ObummerCare.  And every single time, things get worse.  Stop doing that.  It doesn't work.

Prohibition was shoved up America's ass(although at least they paid enough attention to the Constitution to do it through the legal amendment process(where's the Constitutional authority for the Feds to regulate drugs?)), and it gave rise to organized crime, more drinking, binge drinking and a total lack of respect for the law.  Now we're doing it with marijuana and other substances, and the same things are happening.  Stop doing that.  It doesn't work.

The Fed is printing tons of money in a desperate attempt to solve our looming debt crisis.  Every single country that has tried this has found itself in a spiral of hyperinflation leading to total economic collapse.  Stop doing that.  It doesn't work.

We've tried regulating guns (in direct opposition to the Second Amendment) all over the country.  Every single "Gun Free" Victim Disarmament Zone has resulted in more mass shootings, drive-bys, violent crime and other gun deaths than any other part of America, despite the rest of the country having far more guns per capita.  Stop doing that.  It doesn't work.

Propaganda mills Publik Skools have been failing for decades.  We're constantly told that they need more money, more resources, more support blah blah blah,.  We keep giving them more money.  We keep giving them more authority.  Our kids keep getting more stupid, sociopathic and irresponsible.  Stop doing that.  It doesn't work.

I could go on, but I think you get the point.

STOP.

DOING.

STUFF.

THAT.

DOESN'T.

WORK.

Yes, it really is that simple.  How about we try it?

31 October 2013

Read this.

And the comments.  All of them.

It's a war that, in retrospect, we never should have started. Oh, sure, we had the best of intentions going in; there was a perceived threat to our society, plus the do-gooder angle of people who needed saving to make us feel better about ourselves. Sure, we might have to curtail a few civil liberties for the duration, but that's the price of security in time of war, right?

Forty years later, we are still an occupying army, people's rights are still getting trampled, and you have a harder time buying good cold medicine than you would the meth they're afraid you'll make with it. They would rather an innocent person writhe in pain than risk somebody getting high.

Seriously, the War on (Some) Drugs has done more damage to the fabric of American liberty and the Bill of Rights than any other single factor, shows no sign of letting up, and yet bring this fact up to any Law 'n' Order Republican and they just snort and dismiss the issue with "Libertarians just want to smoke pot."

Nuff said.

27 October 2013

The suicide of open borders

Unlike many of my libertarian brethren, I support a seriously restrictive immigration policy and strong border defense.  I've expounded upon this before, but Nelson Hultberg attacks the subject point by point and you should all go read it now.

The illegals streaming into our country today have no grasp as to what freedom and its requisites are. To make matters worse, many of them are brazenly anti-American with an arrogant sense of entitlement already built into their personalities. They are bringing with them the political and cultural assumptions of their country of origin. And those assumptions are that the state is meant to take care of them. Unlike earlier America, we now have a state that will cater to those assumptions. This is the flaw in the rationale of open border advocates. The quality of immigrants that flows to a welfare state country will not be the same as that which flows to a laissez-faire country. For this reason alone, any influx of immigrants to our nation must be severely restricted.

But as the Founders knew, even in a laissez-faire country immigration must always be restricted. Today’s unbridled welfare state merely makes restriction all the more mandatory. In fact it makes restriction a matter of national survival.

The flippant libertarian retort to this dilemma, that “all we need to do then is just get rid of the welfare state,” is naïve and irresponsible. Open borders is not a rational policy even for a free, laissez-faire country. Moreover, the welfare state will require 50-100 years to phase out. If present immigration trends continue, in a half-century Mexicans and Central Americans (and their socialist assumptions) will have overrun the entire southwest and much of the midwest. They will be the majority voting block in the country. Thus all libertarians do with their flippant advocacy is confuse the populace, which allows collectivist bureaucrats and corporatists to continue bringing in larger and larger swarms of illegals. Rationality is needed here, not flippancy.

Seriously, if you still don't get the point, you really have no grasp of what liberty requires.  Put your dogma on a shelf and start using some of that logic stuff.

Now, do remember that these terms are interpreted by paranoid statists.  Think that maybe we shouldn't get all chummy with the Muslim Brotherhood?  You're #8(intolerant toward other religions!) and #12(anti-Muslim!), not to mention #36(exhibiting extreme religious intolerance!).

Have more than a couple of boxes of ammunition?  Do you own a gun at all?  Then you're 26(you fear impending gun control or weapons confiscations(not that they'd ever do that, right?)!), 27(in a "militia movement"(whether you actually are or not)!), 38(you've "suddenly" acquired weapons), 50(a "survivalist"), 61(you "believe in the right to bear arms?"  What a whackjob!), and--no matter how sparse your ammo cabinet may be--you're most definitely 62(engaged in "ammunition stockpiling").

Think America is a sovereign country, with the right to make her own laws and decide who comes in and who doesn't?  WHOA.  There's pretty much half of those points.  If you believe in God, particularly the Christian God, there's the other half.  And if you fit in even ONE of these categories, however far they have to reach to put you there, you are considered a "potential terrorist."

If you're an actual Constitutional American, the American government is scared shitless of you.

Repeat:

If you're an actual Constitutional American, the American government is scared shitless of you.

Let that sink in for a while.

As for me, I took this as a "How American Are You?" quiz, which someone who knows how to make online quizzes should totally do.  I disregarded those categories that the Thug Regime would put me in by association, and just checked those that I proudly fit into.  My score?

45 out of 72.  Not bad.  And I definitely fit into 34(Anyone that "establishes website/blog to display extremist views").

Guess I'll see y'all in Gitmo.

"Affordable" Care Act?

Thousands beg to differ.  Most vociferously.

Over the last 24 hours, my inbox has been flooded with hundreds of emails. What you’ll read in this post represents a portion of them. I’m only one guy (with a fulltime job and twins) — I wasn’t able to go through every single message just yet. Some, I left out because the information was too specific and personal, to the extent that it would reveal the identity of the person who sent it. Some, I couldn’t include because they are simply (well written and accurate) editorials about Obamacare, but they don’t speak to the personal, physical impact of Obamacare on American families. Others, I just haven’t had a chance to read. I expect there will be a sequel to this post coming very soon. Thank you for your stories.

In the meantime, here are the tales of many, many, many real Americans. Share this with your friends. Every time some Statist nincompoop extols the virtues of Obamacare; every time they insist that the “Affordable Care Act” has done nothing but “help” low and middle income families; every time they babble incoherently about how Obamacare isn’t “perfect” but it’s still “better” than what we had before — show them this. Challenge them to read what is happening out there. This isn’t abstract. It isn’t academic. It isn’t a matter of ideology. It isn’t even an issue of constitutionality (although it’s that, also). This is about people. People with kids, and bills, and health problems. This is about people who can no longer afford their health coverage, their mortgages, their lifesaving medication. This is about doctors and nurses leaving medicine behind, driven away by destructive bureaucratic interference. This is about moms and dads losing their jobs so that their employers can compensate for the financial burden of Obamacare. This is about people without insurance because of Obamacare, now being fined for not having insurance because of Obamacare. This is about business owners driven to the edge of bankruptcy. This is real. We heard a lot of fantasies about what Obamacare was “supposed” to accomplish, now it’s time to talk about what it’s actually doing.

So when they say you are “heartless” for opposing Obamacare, show them why it’s heartless to support it.

They go on...and on...and on.  Insurance costs doubling, with a $3000 deductible raised to $10,000.  Doctors retiring or making plans to leave the country.  The elderly and retired, the young and struggling, being forced out of their insurance policies.  Have a barf bucket and a punching bag ready before you read these stories.

I remember the '80's, when HMOs were supposed to be the Great White Hope of healthcare.  "You can choose your doctor, your costs will go down, nothing's going to get worse and everything's going to get better."  LIES.  ALL LIES.

And you dumbasses fell for it...AGAIN.  Seriously, Obamanoids, WTF is wrong with you???  The whole thing was summed up by commenter Mike Magnus:

I think what gets lost in these back and forth arguments, lost by both sides, is that we do not have a free market healthcare/insurance system in America. Haven’t for a very long time. We have a centrally planned, government controlled healthcare system in America. Literally tens of thousands of mandates, regulations and taxes on the healthcare/insurance industry.

Ever since the federal government took control of education, what has been the result? Increasingly expensive, declining results.

Ever since the federal government passed and raised minimum wage laws to help the poor, what has been the result? Unemployment amongst the poor goes up and up and up.

Ever since the federal government passed strict gin control laws in early 1900′s, what has been the result? Gun related crime skyrocketed.

Nearly every major plan the government puts forward has serious, devastating unintended consequences. Healthcare policy is no different. For 40 years they have been imposing new mandates, taxing every aspect of the industry and regulating every decision anyone involved in healthcare makes. What has been the result? More and more people can not afford the government mandates, taxes and regulations. More and more people go without.

And thousands of new mandates, taxes and regulations are the solution?

When I read these comments on here I can’t help but think this main point, that government has controlled our healthcare system for 2 generations, isn’t even considered by most people.

Get it through your heads:  Government is not the solution; government is the problem.

If you're surprised...

...you really need to pull your head out of your ass.

Yep, the Greedy Old Pussies bent over and let the Dems give it to them (but not nearly as bad as the rest of us) good and hard up the fart pipe.

Again.

As if this hasn't been happening for years on end?  As if this wasn't as much a foregone conclusion as the sun rising in the East tomorrow?  The most tragicomic thing about this whole affair was the spectacle of all these folks in Conservative media hollering about "They better not cave, or else!!"  It's like these people have some sort of Battered Spouse Syndrome, where they really believe--despite every single piece of evidence pointing to the contrary--that this time it'll be different.  They'll stand their ground this time.  They won't sell us out this time.

Regular readers may have noticed my lack of posting of late.  This is because I just can't work up the energy to get angry about it any more.  We've said all there is to say.  We've warned you time and time again.  Frankly, I've grown weary of repeating myself.  I'll say it one more time:

WE'RE NOT VOTING OUR WAY OUT OF THIS.

Just accept that, alter your strategy accordingly, and move on.

Wise words from...Sinead O'Connor??

Something you never thought you'd read on a blog written by one of those Right Wing Extremists, eh?  But--unlike too many people on both sides--I don't give a damn about anyone's sexuality, religion or political leanings when they're speaking the truth.  And Sinead is laying down some truth that young Miley Cyrus really ought to take to heart.

(WARNING:  Profanity at link)

I wasn’t going to write this letter, but today I’ve been dodging phone calls from various newspapers who wished me to remark upon your having said in Rolling Stone your Wrecking Ball video was designed to be similar to the one for Nothing Compares… So this is what I need to say… And it is said in the spirit of motherliness and with love.

I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way ‘cool’ to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos. It is in fact the case that you will obscure your talent by allowing yourself to be pimped, whether its the music business or yourself doing the pimping.

Nothing but harm will come in the long run, from allowing yourself to be exploited, and it is absolutely NOT in ANY way an empowerment of yourself or any other young women, for you to send across the message that you are to be valued (even by you) more for your sexual appeal than your obvious talent.

It's long, but worth reading.  How many of us conservatives are trying to get this message across to the young ladies of today?  If they hear it from someone we might not agree with, does it really matter as long as they listen?

Selco on bread and circuses

This is a man who has BTDT, and if you haven't heard of his site, get thee hence and start taking notes.  Usually, he's describing how to deal with some serious apocalyptic wartime Mad Max shit, but this may be his most relevant post as regards what's going down nowHere.  Today.

Some of us are „too deep“ and „too blindly“ buried into the BOB, BOL, SHTF, WROL and other discussion and arguing about „what knife to have when SHTF” and God knows what else. Many think one day lights go out and darkness all around, hell breaks lose. But this only happens when governments make big mistake or nature finally gets back at us.

I believe government and corporations just turn off light slowly. Hand out pocket lights that people can see small area around them but not big picture.

When you put people slowly in misery they think it is normal. Humen get used to everything around them if they have enough time. So they take away air to breath but leave you just enough you are still alive. What I mean is that s. already hit the fan, it hit quietly and it is slowly rumbling towards us. Most people gonna realize that only when it blows up in their face.

Read and contemplate.

The more dead innocents, the better...

..at least, as far as some people very high up are concerned:

On Wednesday, BBC News reported the indefensible discovery that the D.C. Capitol Police’s SWAT team was ready to neutralize the Navy Yard mass shooting.

But, the highly trained and heavily armed, elite tactical group was, instead, ordered to stand down and leave the scene.  The Capitol Police promised a full investigation.

Today, BBC News reported more disturbing information.  No one has talked to the SWAT team members.  Not even for the protocol debriefing.  But, not only have members of the SWAT team not been contacted, the department “has installed a new leader”.  Without explanation.

Now, I'm not saying that anyone would want this maniac to kill as many people as possible in order to, oh, I don't know, say...further another push for gun control victim disarmament.  I mean, that would be just crazy talk.

No, I'm certain there's a perfectly non-sinister explanation of these events, which we'll be given right about...never.

As the LameStream Media remained deaf...

...a column of motorcycles 55 miles long and four lanes wide left LA to join the Memorial Ride in Washington on 9/11.

Fifty-five miles long.  Four abreast.  That's just the bikers from the LA area.

And nary a word from the Fourth Estate.  Wonder why?

The Fifth Column Treasonous Media desperately hopes that the sentiment that drove millions of American’s to take a couple days off from work and ride into Mordor on the Potomac to protest Muslims demonstrating on what amounts to a sacred holy day in America, will both go unnoticed and not catch on. The truth is more to the effect that this Biker led protest represents a kind of barometric reading of the mood of America.

Traditionally, the average American is very slow and reluctant to protest. We are a gentle, peace loving and pragmatic people by nature. By the time our collective dander is up enough for us to start protesting, we are mighty pissed off. Yes, there are special interest group driven Americans who will protest pretty much anything at the drop of a hat, but they do not even remotely represent the average American.

Food for thought...

How she makes Leftist heads explode:

Mel Maguire, a lesbian, has dared to step off their plantation of perpetual ignorance and victimhood, and get involved with all that pesky logic and reason stuff.  Naturally, this makes those still lost in a world of contradictions and propaganda somewhat confused, vexed and quite perplexed.

I don’t understand why requiring ID to buy alcohol is acceptable, yet requiring ID to vote isn’t. If you’re going to claim that requiring ID for one thing is somehow racist (Al Sharpton eloquently called voter ID laws “Jim Crow Jr.”), you cannot then say that requiring ID for other things isn’t. We require ID to buy OTC drugs containing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine – we even limit how much of those drugs one person can buy and logs are kept. We require ID to buy any alcohol and tobacco products. We require ID to board a bus or a plane. We require ID to drive a car. We require ID to get into R-rated films. We require ID to do quite a few things, and somehow none of those things are racist or discriminatory – but start talking about requiring ID to vote on laws or lawmakers, and suddenly it’s a different ballgame.

I don’t understand why private businesses, helmed by people who are not government workers, are being required to serve everyone thanks to discrimination laws that were only meant to protect people from the government. I don’t understand why I should be required to carry medical insurance that covers services I will never need or use. I don’t understand why I should have to pay a higher rate of taxes if I make more to help subsidize massive government waste. I don’t understand why my government is completely unwilling to cut spending when there are multiples of the same program across several agencies, none of which have been proven to work.

I don’t understand why so many people would rather be victims than fight back in defense of their children. I don’t understand why that belief is so strong that they are willing to tell me that I’m not allowed to arm myself to protect my family and my home from bad guys who will never give a damn what the law says. I don’t understand why there are only limits to speech when a certain group dislikes what I have to say. I don’t understand why I’m not allowed to question the President without being accused of being a racist.

Allison Benedikt explained...poor thing.

Would you take life advice from this woman?

Unfortunately, if you are as poorly educated as Benedikt is, you are likely to fall under the influence of a man who tells you what to think.

If you do a Google search for Allison Benedikt you will get a slightly different perspective on what she calls a bad person. You see, Benedikt grew up Jewish. Then she married a man named John Cook who, by her testimony, hates Jews. At the least, he hates Israel, everything it stands for and everything it has ever accomplished. His hatred is so visceral that he constantly harangues his wife and anyone else in earshot with venomous tirades against Israel.

Apparently, Benedikt does not think that this makes him a bad person! She married him. Since she received an inferior education she cannot stand up to her husband. He has browbeat her into thinking as he does.

RTWT.  Spineless, self-loathing and arrogant is no way to go through life, girl.

Heading for the dustbin of history

Folks, whether you like it or not, money makes the world go 'round.  Deal.

America has been the bedrock of the world economy for generations.  Ever since national credit ratings were established, we were AAA--rock solid.  Now, under the administration of Our Glorious Lightbringer, we've taken at least two downgrades in our credit rating, and we're likely headed for a third pretty soon.  But who cares, right?  We're America!!  F*ck yeah!!  The world can't do squat without us, right?

Think again.  Take a look at what the tyranny of this administration's IRS is bringing upon us...

Surely a significant European bank must do some business in the USA, I asked. Can the world’s largest economy really be so onerous that you truly want nothing whatsoever to do with it?

Well he was rather guarded and he knew I was a blogger, which I suspect made him a bit uneasy at the prospect of being quoted, which is why I am naming no names. But to paraphrase the reply I coaxed out of him, it was “yes, the USA is simply not worth the trouble and so rather than complying with their endless diktats and the uncertainties of what are increasingly capricious rules… well… there is a whole great big world out there for us to do business with that does not include the United States.”

Yet I suspect the powers-that-be in Washington could not care less and moreover the notion that sophisticated foreign bankers are starting to see American not as the land of opportunity, but as a place to be avoided at all costs, would strike them as preposterous. Indeed had I not had those documents laid in front of me asking me to attest to a complete lack of economic links to the USA or anything associated with the USA that the US state might claim extraterritorial jurisdiction over… well, I would not have believed it myself.

Bold text is mine.  RTWT.  This collection of self-important douchebags will be the death of this country, both at home and on a planetwide scale.

God help us.

Always browse the comments.

From "RedStater," a comment on this article in AT reposted in full:

Of all the faults of modern liberalism, this is the one that is the most baffling: their inability to see how their ideas and policies have the opposite affect of what it is they claim to wish to achieve. The "war on poverty" has not dented the percentage of the poor among us, but is has hastened the demise of the family by making fathers unnecessary, the work ethic irrelevant, and the population even more segregated by class, as economic mobility is stifled. The pursuit of green energy has not lessened our dependence on fossil fuels an iota, but has made certain our dependence on foreign oil, notably that of Islamic regimes pledged to our downfall, for generations to come. It also guarantees our need to continue intervening militarily in the Middle East to keep the oil coming. Federal meddling in education to create a uniform standard has increased illiteracy, not lessened it. One could go on all day.

The reason modern liberalism is such a colossal failure is that at its root it denies human nature and thinks our innate qualities can be supplanted with good intentions and enough of other people's money. They don't seem to get that confiscating wealth from the earners and giving it to those who did nothing to warrant it except fail at life only creates resentment: from the givers, who are being asked to believe that their wealth confiscation is somehow "charity", and by the receivers who are stripped of the dignity that comes from overcoming want and adversity and are deprived of the self-respect that only self reliance can provide.

There is an axiom in economics 101 that states that whichever things one wishes to discourage, that thing needs to be taxed. And whatever thing one wishes to encourage, that thing is to be subsidized. Is it any wonder that we have more people receiving government assistance in some form than those who are not? That businesses have shut down or fled the country in droves? That only the super-rich not bound by our borders are increasing in wealth, while the middle and upper middle class have watched their profits shrink and in some cases disappear?

We even assign the vulgar term "entitlement" to the aid we provide. Is it any wonder that those receiving it are not only not grateful to receive it, but are constantly demanding more?

Republicans have done a lousy job explaining capitalism, because they too have lost sight of human nature. The person who earns their own way, provides for themselves, and is rewarded for innovation is the one who advances the culture. The ones who are allowed to suffer the consequences of their bad decisions are the ones who will overcome them, develop courage and discipline and join the ranks of the achievers. Yes, there will always be exception, always the needy will be with us. But we have taken dependency to a level that is unimaginable to our founders.

I saw a picture on line the other day. It was an image of a thumb drive, and it said under it "CAPITALISM: this single device has saved more trees than Greenpeace ever has or ever will." Truer words were never spoken, and it is something we should be shouting from the rooftops. It is capitalism and nothing else that will elevate the poor, save whatever parts of our planet that needs saving, educate our children. Not Medicare, not welfare, not subsidized housing, not the EPA, not teacher's unions, not free breakfast and lunch programs.

Amen.  Read the article, too, while you're at it.

Here I am.

As I promised, the face behind the posts.  Now, the only way to someone to claim they're me would be through serious, disfiguring plastic surgery, and I'm just not important enough to the PTB for that.

Economics, ethics and a "Living Wage"

Sarah Hoyt breaks it down for us.  (And I'm not posting this just because she uses a penguin timer.)

The problem here, the problem with this article, the problem with the whole controversy over a living wage is that it mixes ethics and science.  The two never mix.  You can’t question the morality of the formula H2O.  You can’t ask if it would be a more balanced world if it were H2O2.  You can’t really say “Should humans have tails?”  (Well, you could, but then you’d be my older child.)  Or “Is it fair that humans have opposable thumbs when most species don’t?” – it is what it is.

Economics is what it is.  We can discuss the ethics of it, of course.  Older son, in his bio major, studied ethics.  But he studied them as a separate discipline, NOT AS BIOLOGY.

Meanwhile, younger son, whose engineering major requires a hefty dose of Business classes had to take an economics course where the professor seemed to think he was teaching Sunday school.  It was all about what is more moral, and what is better for the community.  Oh, please!  Do have Ethics of Business Practices (not getting in bed with government to create a virtual monopoly would be something to teach the kids – because it’s bad for the economy and the community.  Curiously, this was not something ever discussed in this very confused class.  Go figure.)  BUT don’t call them “basic economics.”  Basic economics are matters of investment and profit, of marketing and selling.

RTWT, especially you people who think we should raise the minimum wage to something like $100/hr.  Your own throat.  You're cutting it.

Just read it.

Welcome Alpha is Assumed (wait...I see what he did there!) to RTD.

GIA is reflected in America’s founding documents, the wings of the conservative/libertarian movement, the effective application of rhetoric and game, economic law, the Trinity, and in innumerable other ways.  Once you recognize her (I’ll refer to GIA as “she” because “it” gets boring after a while), you’ll see her everywhere that things actually work.  You’ll also notice how things that don’t work result entirely from misunderstanding her or one of her components.

I realize that many of you don’t believe that the Bible is a sacred text.  Even if it’s not, it is the foundational text of Western Civilization (supplemented by the writings of Aristotle), and as such, even if it’s nothing more than a collection of “desert fairy tales”, it should not be disregarded.

So I’ll present GIA through one of the ways in which she was most succinctly expressed in the past:  the desert temptations of Matthew 4.

Because THIS.

Seriously, a long and involved study of this man's writings may go a long way toward understanding the human condition, science and faith.  Prepare yourselves to exercise your gray matter.

Anonymous no more.

Well, sorta.

See the post below:  Ann has it dead on.  We have to know how to recognize each other from more than just blog and email quotes, or we're sitting ducks for infiltration and defamation.

Now, I'm not going to post my name, address or employer.  The professional Bad Guys already know who I am, but I'm not going to make it easy for the amateurs.  But, before Monday, you will see the Wraith in all his studliness averageness OH DEAR GOD COVER YOUR EYES.  Chrome dome, tats, graying beard, paunch and all.  (No, I'm not doing a Speedo shot, which is just as well for your sanity.)

So, if someone says he's me, you'll know if he's full of it.  (Of course, if it IS me, you'll have to roll save vs. turn to stone...)

Inversion of the tactical table

Folks, she's making some points you ought to read and think about.

Now stop and think about this.  How can I possibly, possibly confirm that this guy, who I have indeed corresponded with via email, actually is who he says he is?  We all now know for a metaphysical certitude that all of our email has been logged and may have been read by FEDGOV.  We MUST assume that FEDGOV is every bit as knowledgable of our data and correspondences as we are.  How do I know that this man standing before me really is ‘Disturbed Citizen’?  There is no possible way for me to confirm this.  I don’t know what ‘Disturbed Citizen’s’ name is, so asking for an I.D. is pointless.  I don’t know what ‘Disturbed Citizen’ looks like, so visual confirmation is off the table.  And the enemy has FULL ACCESS to all correspondence between myself and the real ‘Disturbed Citizen’, and thus can quote and make references WITH FULL CONTEXT AND DETAIL.

Do you see this?  Given the tactical situation, the proper course is NOT for us to hide.  That ship sailed a LONG time ago.  The only thing that hiding behind aliases, handles and noms de guerre accomplishes is opening a HUGE door to the enemy such that they can infiltrate us with ease never-before-seen in the annals of war.  The proper tactic is to BE NOT AFRAID and come out from behind aliases and handles NOW.

Now, take me, for example.  If I were to roll into some event somewhere, people would know who I was by name and by sight, and if they did not know who I was, I could quickly and easily confirm my identity and bona fides.

RTWT.  The way you lose is by fighting the last war...

Ann Barnhardt gets a facelift!!

Well, her site did, anyway.  Now you can direct-link, access archives and do all that cool stuff that you can do on any blog.

Except comment.

Sorry, libs and Jihadists, you'll just have to continue sending your screams of profanity-laced incoherent psychotic rage to her email.  If they're off-the-wall enough, she might even post them for the civilized people of the world to peruse, pity, and weep at the evidence of how God's children can become so thoroughly twisted by the Enemy.

As for Ann herself, she doesn't need a facelift...although her balls may require a forklift.

14 August 2013

Amen.

Actually I’m sick of “race,” period.

Yep, me too.  I don't want to think about race.  I don't give a chrome-plated crap about race.  I resent people pushing it in my face and blaming everything bad that's ever happened to anyone on RAAAAAACIIISSM!!

I am color-blind.   I do not care.  When I first read Dr. King's proposal of judging people by character over color, I was all like, "DUH."  Why would you judge someone by what they are, rather than who they are?

I'm not keeping anyone down.  I don't want to keep anyone down.  I want every single individual human being on Earth to be the best they can possibly be, for their own benefit, the benefit of the human race as a whole, and the glory of our Creator God.  Of course, there will be honest competition, and that's a good thing.  But the only thing keeping any of us down--regardless of color, gender or hairstyle--is ourselves.  We can all be better than we are today.  We can all improve ourselves and our station in life.  We can all overcome our personal trials and setbacks.  All of us.

And the best way to do that is to focus on changing ourselves, not blaming everyone else for our own mistakes.  That goes for everybody.

Welcome Theolitics to TIPB.  Because this.

This well-deserved ass-kicking brought to you by...

...the free market.
Now 17 newspaper employees have been laid off. Among them was the editor who published the gun owner’s information. This is the first time I’ve seen online media clearly punish a bricks and mortar media firm. This is a good start, but don’t stop. I hope the paper is driven out of business.

Can we do the same to some other papers as well?

Is the real America coming back?  One can only hope...!!

The only reason we can still blog

Yep, he's right.

Because 'they' don't care. Let us complain. Let us shout our discontent. So what? If any of us were to actually plan to act, we'd be rounded up and disappeared. You know. The "patriot" act. The powers that control our country sit back and laugh at our feeble attempts to further our rights. They know they have the power. And we, those of us who speak out against tyranny have no chance of making a difference.

Our forefathers had the ability to meet and compare notes. Make plans. Decide on a course of action.

What do we have? 24/7 surveillance, unmitigated monitoring, video and voice records of every move we make. If I were to try to start a movement in my town to stand against the tyranny of our Muslim Asshole in Chief, I would be declared a traitor, displaying treason to this country, and either quietly removed to a dank cell, or, of course 'accidentally' be literally "droned" out of existence as an enemy of the state.

We're done.

Choking on the irony

Here's the quote:

You need to grow up, get some life experiences and then maybe you’ll have the right to sermonize about parenting.

Here's the context.

“Matt, I heard your horrible conversation today about parenting. A few comments in response:

1) Based on your remarks, I have to say I feel bad for your kids. You sound like the sort of person who never should have been a parent. You said you plain to teach your kids “how to think.” I guess this is common in right wing religious fundamentalist households. Personally, I let my child form his own conclusions about things. To impose your views on a child is tantamount to child abuse. Do them a favor, let them think FREELY.

2) You greatly exaggerate the importance of “chores.” Also, the idea that a kid should be forced to “get a job” is abhorrent. My son was very gifted so we gave him all the tools to succeed academically. This meant we didn’t turn him into slave labor and we certainly didn’t tell him he needed to go work behind a cash register. He concentrated on his school work, and we did our job as parents and financially supported him.

3) It’s easy to mock a “30 year old who lives with is parents.” My son is almost 29 and he’s been home with us since he graduated. Unfortunately the job market isn’t the greatest (maybe you hadn’t heard) and I’m not going to let him starve on the street. He has a college education, it’s pointless for him to be out working in a retail store or some other menial job. I will be here for him until he is able to get the job he deserves.

You need to grow up, get some life experiences and then maybe you’ll have the right to sermonize about parenting.

-Nick”

For the love of God, someone please tell me that this is a brilliant satire.  Because if this was actually written in seriousness, we can just kiss civilization goodbye.

From a guy who knows...

Doug Giles, like myself, also knows what it's like to be a thug...and the consequences that face you when you are.

During my time of gleefully following el Diablo’s lead, I shot at people and had guns drawn on me. One summer night back in 1978, my buddies and I were ripping off a boat and were busted red-handed by the home owner who pulled out a pump shotgun, racked a round, but was unable to get off a shot because the direction in which I ran blocked his sight picture and I was able to get away.

If I would have been shot and killed that evening it would have sucked, but would have been a just punishment because my life choices put me in a direct path of destruction.

If I would have died of an overdose or from a crime that I had committed, I would hope to God that no one would stand over my casket and blame other people, or culture, or lack of education, or my neighborhood, or some other people group because that stuff was all on me. I would hope my life would have become a proverb, a veritable deterrent to aberrant behavior.

RTWT.  If this is the path you choose to walk, then the only one responsible for your incarceration, overdose or untimely demise is you.  "Society" didn't fail you--you failed yourself.

Crazy talk

Who the hell would vote for these loons?

On reason and homo sapiens

I'm going to quote just the footnote of this post

* One of the most basic tenets of the political left is that is somehow wrong for there to be wealthy people. It’s not wrong that there exist super wealthy people. The world would be a better place if everyone, by todays standards, were super wealthy. And in fact by the standards of 1000 years ago the bottom 1% of the population in the U.S. have nearly unimaginable wealth. 1000 years ago all the richest king’s gold could not have bought a vaccine to prevent their child from contracting small pox. Nor could they have purchased a ride on a vehicle that could take them 50 miles in less than hour. Or gotten a valid answer to some of the toughest questions ever asked within a few minutes.  But almost anyone today can get that for a pittance if not for free.

Without that thin veneer of reason the people of the political left cannot, or in some cases will not, recognize that the poor are only temporarily, if that, improved by taking wealth from the rich and redistributing it. The situation of the poor is improved through the creation of more wealth.

This creation of more wealth was how our world today became so much better for everyone than the world of 1000 years ago. We created a trillion (just a WAG) times more wealth. Creating more wealth may increase disparity between the rich and the poor but in the long term the poor will be improved far more than if the wealth of the rich was taken from them. This is not just an assertion but a simple extrapolation of countless “experiments” run in hundreds of cultures around the world over hundreds if not 1000s of years.

This creation of wealth required a large population growth and a dramatic increase in the consumption of natural resources. Both the population growth and the consumption of natural resources were, and are, seen as catastrophic by the political left. Yet, humans are far better off for it.

RTWT, because logic is awesome.

Props to Sheriff Mike Scott

Now, this is how you call hypocrites out.

I have been invited to the NAACP Freedom Fund Awards Banquet and
have been asked to sponsor the event financially. I will not be doing
either but wanted to explain my concerns and the reasons for my
decision. Frankly, I believe the NAACP locally and nationally loses
credibility when it picks and chooses which issues it rallies around and
embraces what often appears to be a double standard relative to race and
ethnicity. I am citing two (2) local and recent examples of my concern.

Tragically, record numbers of young, black males have been gunned down
in the streets of Fort Myers in an epidemic of alarming proportions over
the last few years. In virtually every instance the killer was also black
and the majority of those cases remain open. Many more black citizens
have been injured and were lucky to survive similar circumstances. To
date, I am unaware of any appreciable attention or public outcry the
NAACP locally or nationally have afforded these issues in our own,
proverbial backyard. '

Conversely, you immediately inserted yourself and the Lee County Branch
in the matter of Trayvon Martin’s tragic death in a city hours from ours
and publically declared that matter to have been mishandled by the police
while expressing your intention to travel to Sanford sporting a “hoodie.”

Well done, Sir.

UPDATE:  I'm not going to say the response was predictable, but there are as-yet-undiscovered tribes in the heart of the Amazon jungle who could have seen this coming.

The feedback I’m receiving via email, phone calls texts and what we’ve all seen on [NBC2] Facebook posting, your Facebook postings right now are running about 75%-25% in my favor,” Scott said.

The NAACP says this debate is far from over. They are sending the letter to Governor Rick Scott’s office and the national office of the NAACP.

As for having Scott removed from office – Scott won his last re-election in 2012 with 66% of the vote. He also noted in an email Thursday evening that he’s been awarded the local NAACP’s top honor twice in his eight years in office.

All together now:  "WAAAAAAAAHHH!!!  RAAAACIISST!!!"  Guess the petulant children at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Race Baiters need a time-out.

THIS!

Why do people still fall for this?

“Government today is bigger and more unconstitutional than it was before the last election.”

If you could travel through time, you could make that statement in any of the last 100 years and you’d almost never be wrong.

“Voting the bums out” has proven to be a complete and utter failure as a strategy.

And yet, fools still think that by sending a different pack of shitheads and liars to Washington, they're going to get things done.  How's that been workin' for ya?

Stand up as a man, a household, a community, a county, a state, a region.  But don't think you'll ever get anything out of DC at this point but lies, oppression and tyranny.

Motivated by hate

That description seems to apply more to Zimmerman's persecutors than the man himself.

Zimmerman was one of two men who came to the aid of a family of four — two parents and two children — trapped inside a blue Ford Explorer SUV that had rolled over after traveling off the highway in Sanford, Fla. at approximately 5:45 p.m. Thursday, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

The crash occurred at the intersection of I-4 and route Route 46, police said. The crash site is less than a mile from where Zimmerman shot Martin.

By the time police arrived, two people – including Zimmerman – had already helped the family get out of the overturned car, the sheriff’s office said. No one was reported to be injured.

So, all you people screaming death threats, rioting and looting "fo' Trayvon..."

...what have YOU done for your fellow man lately?

Larry Correia does it again.

This one small excerpt should make you want to RTWT.

I happen to look like a scary 6’5” Tony Soprano. I’m actually physically intimidating, and that is at 37 years old and years of desk job. When I was in my 20s I could bench press 365 pounds and was 270 pounds, 16% body fat, of Big Ugly. I usually had a shaved head and a goatee and I looked like my favorite hobby was punching things, which it was. I was a hundred times more physically intimidating that President Lady Parts on his best day. So I’ve been profiled tons, and I’ve had lots of women obviously assess me like I was a threat.

And I don’t think it is a bad thing at all.

Emphasis mine.  It's a long post, but entertaining enough that that shouldn't matter.

Uncle Ted speaks the truth

This is the most depressing part of the entire op-ed:

...Blacks kill more blacks in a weekend in Chicago than the evil, vile Ku Klux Klan idiots did in 50 years. Truly earth shattering insane. And not a peep from Obama or Holder. Tragic.

RTWT.  And pass it on.

5 Really Depressing Things and then Some Music

Posted by Ann Barnhardt - July 20, ARSH 2013 2:01 PM MST

1. The single most depressing thing to watch is the 36 hour news cycle of the populus. I can't understand it. I can't understand how it is that you people just collectively let massive, massive crimes go as soon as the media spoon-feeds you the next "big story". This has to be a function of the diabolical coupled with God withdrawing His grace. Memory is a gift from God. To choose to not use it, to choose to suppress it is a sin.

2. Um, yeah, it was reported about 48 hours ago (now outside the window, apparently) that the Obama regime has forced all of the Benghazi survivors to sign "non-disclosure agreements", which means all of those people were threatened with their jobs, and perhaps more importantly their PENSIONS, and thus they all, to a man, so far, have ROLLED OVER and SOLD OUT.

THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is why I fear the field grade officers and flag officers in the United States Military. I doubt there is ONE who would call bee-ess and go full bayonet charge if they were so much as threatened with losing their precious, precious pension. "I just have to make it x more years."

No, sweetie. You just need to make it through your Particular Judgment. Which leads to nausea-inducing point number three...

3. All of the FEDGOV pension money is totally being raided. I picked up on a Market-Ticker.org thread that the way the FEDGOV is keeping from "hitting the debt ceiling" is by raiding the TSP accounts, which stand for "Thrift Savings Accounts". Those are all of the retirement accounts of government employees, basically government 401ks. Yeah. The Obama regime raids the TSP accounts, leaves an I.O.U., and it washes out on the balance sheet since it is all "gubmint", and thus the "debt ceiling" is not breached.

Here is a citation on this practice from January.

These morons, including the Benghazi survivors, are selling out in order to salvage their precious, precious pensions which have zero chance of paying out, and the money **may already be gone anyway**. You can't make this stuff up. Centuries from now, you know what historians are going to look back and say? It will be something like, "These people were so bleeping stupid and PATHETIC that they deserved everything they got in spades."

4. Yes, my supernova analogy would have been so much better if I had assumed that the supernova resulted in a black hole, not a white dwarf. Yes. Absolutely. This is all going to end in a black, sucking vortex of subatomic carnage. What was I thinking? Must be the exhaust fumes from the Van Down By The River getting to me.

5. A reader sent in this quote from KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov. A full interview of Bezmenov recorded in the early 1980's (I think) is widely available on YouTube. The regime isn't censoring these things because the vast majority of people are too stupid to listen to anything that lasts more than seven seconds. But, I'll let Bezmenov sum it up. This is the KGB's definition of "ideological subversion":
"To change the perception of reality, of every American, to such an extent that despite the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their countrymen."
YEP!

6. Now something pretty. Sigh.

19 July 2013

The dream is dead.

I got your "racism" right here.

Dr. Ossian Sweet could tell you a little about real racism...and about self-defense.

Dr. Sweet bought a home for his family commensurate with his status—the one at 2905 Garland. Ironically, the family selling the home—the Smith’s—was interracial, but Mr. Smith was so light-skinned that his neighbors assumed he was white; Sweet anticipated no troubles. Indeed, his wife’s parents lived in a white neighborhood. However, as soon as the residents near 2905 Garland learned of his race, trouble began. The Smiths were condemned for selling the home to a black and they warned the Sweets of the difficulties they would face. As soon as he purchased the residence, a block club was formed to keep him out. Dr. Sweet consulted other professional blacks who attempted integration, and realized that the Detroit police would likely offer little protection. Nevertheless, he informed the police of his intent to move into his new home. He expected trouble, so on his first night in this home—September 8, 1925—he asked his two brothers and a number of friends, including a federal narcotics agent, to spend the night with him. He and his friends prepared for hostilities by arming themselves with six revolvers, two rifles, a shotgun and, perhaps, as many as two thousand rounds of ammunition.

A crowd of whites gathered at the corner of Garland and Charlevoix on that evening, but there were eleven police officers present and no violence. Dr. Sweet still feared trouble would escalate, so he asked an additional three friends to join him for the evening of September 9. At some point, the crowd apparently became aggressive, loudly proclaimed that they would drive the Sweets out and began stoning the home. Dr. Sweet and the other armed men inside believed that the home was under siege, that they might be burned to death when the house was incinerated and that the Detroit police would offer no assistance. Shots rang out from the second-story dormer that you see. Instantly, one member of the crowd on Garland, Leon Breiner, was killed and another, Eric Hougberg, wounded in the thigh. At this point, police officers rushed the home and arrested all occupants, who were held without bail.

The city’s police chief demanded first degree murder charges but before going to trial, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People realized the fundamental importance of these events and came to Detroit to protect Dr. Sweet’s rights. Lynching was still frequently used in the South to kill blacks who were presumed guilty of criminal behavior or violating local racial mores. The NAACP feared that lynching would spread to the North and that blacks who did such things as moving into a white neighborhood would be killed. Spurning local black lawyers, the NAACP recruited former University of Michigan student, Clarence Darrow, to defend the occupants of Dr. Sweet’s home.

It's true...God help us.

Tell me that the regime through the infiltrated "schools" hasn't created an entire society of people who refuse to think. Look around you. Your neighbors aren't just uneducated, they are now, in their current state, uneducable. Objective evidence means NOTHING. Reality means NOTHING. Truth means NOTHING. All that matters is SENTIMENT, and not just sentiment, but irrational, evil, immoral sentiment. So, switch off. Stop thinking. Just let "us" take care of you.
Take a look at every "We Be Trayvon" supporter out there.  Try to approach them with provable facts, logic and reason

Note results.

I fear Ann's right.

Dear Lord, have mercy on Your children.  Far too many of them really 'know not what they do.'

An unsung hero passes

RIP, Larry Grathwol.

Most people are also unaware of just what kind of fighter we had in Larry Grathwohl. During the Vietnam War, Larry was a member of a Hatchet Force unit of the 101st Airborne Division. This small force of 40 or fewer men was sent in to rescue other Special Operators in trouble and/or challenge the Vietnamese Communist forces operating in the area. They were among the toughest of the tough. Larry was an utterly fearless, dedicated patriot.

He carried that fearlessness and patriotic dedication into his undercover work, which started with the Cincinnati police – on a strictly voluntary basis while he held down a full-time job and tried to raise a family – and ultimately led to his work for the FBI. He testified before the U.S. Senate in 1974 about WUO operations, including naming Dohrn as the person responsible for a deadly bombing. Despite his unimpeachable testimony, Ayers and Dohrn were able to squirm out of convictions for their treason and murder on a technicality.

Most people are unaware that Ayers and Dohrn were under control of Cuban intelligence, along with fellow comrades Mark Rudd, Carl Davidson and others, during their Weather Underground days, according to declassified government documents. So Ayers was even more than just a communist terrorist – as though that weren’t enough. He was an active traitor working on behalf of our sworn enemies during wartime. WUO activities at the time included multiple bombings, plans to bomb passenger airplanes and plans to assassinate the President, Vice President, Attorney General and New York Governor Rockefeller.

There's more than one way to fight for America, and he found most--if not all--of them.
