Leftism is not just a mental disorder...it is a mental disorder willingly embraced by its victims.  When one knowingly and willingly abandons logic and reason, can they even rightly call themselves human?

You cannot reason someone out of a stance he was not reasoned into. 

A Leftist is not someone who has an alternative political philosophy to yours, or different reasons. He is someone who, in the realm of politics, has decided to eschew philosophy and abandon reason. 

Leftism is what you get when you stop reasoning, kill it dead, and substitute word fetishes instead.

This guy, while he leans left, still has some common sense:

This post isn't big-think.  It is simply observations and conclusions over many years that support a broader narrative.  America is devolving because the vast majority of people living among us no longer aspire to standards of a first world nation.  Pride and self respect are rapidly losing their place in society among our Countrymen.  Entropy is on display.

The men and women who built this country into the dominant power on Earth in just a century or two were aggressive, hardcore survivalists who worked hard and smart to ensure they had the necessities of life.  Men built railroads not because they were born with an undying desire to move products from A to B more efficiently.  They built railroads to earn money, to ensured they would have the necessities of life until they died - with some left over for their loved ones.

Seven children KIDNAPPED by Arkansas police!

Yes, I said 'kidnapped,' and I meant it.  Because this:

In an emotional protest, the Stanleys asked who was responsible for making this decision. It is reported that the children have been kept in custody already one week past the promised 72 hours. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley were not able to see their children until this last Saturday. Friends of the Stanleys have created a GoFundMe page and also have dedicated a Facebook page to help bring them home.

Emphasis mine.  This is no longer a 'hold.'  This is kidnapping, pure and simple.  But why?

He went on to describe his family as "preppers" who try and avoid most contact with the government and prefer keeping to themselves.

Ah, that's it.  God forbid you attempt to live your life as you wish, without the approval of FedGovCo.  Don't you dare try to be self-reliant and hard-working, or we'll take your children away from your evil influence, you...you...AMERICAN!


Every single person involved in this criminal action against the Stanleys should be prosecuted to the full extent of Constitutional law.  Or failing that, horsewhipped and strung up by their tender bits.  Either way, it pales compared to what awaits them after death if they don't get their heads on straight.


Almighty Father in Heaven, please be with the Stanleys in their time of trial, and may You open the hearts and minds of the servants of evil who have perpetrated this heinous act upon them.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Gun control?  We ain't with it.

Humans have the capacity for great evil, even in the absence of guns, something one can learn from peering in at places around the world that have been dealing with acts of terrorism on their own soil a lot longer than Americans have. The biggest threat our troops face in the ME right now, at least what is likely to cause them death and serous injuries, isn’t really guns, but rather explosive devices.

If you try to ban guns in America, what you really do is destroy the essence of who we are as a people, our ideals, our values. Whether symbolically or metaphorically, we have a powerful belief in our right to defend ourselves from all enemies, foreign and domestic. People actually swear allegiance to our Constitution based on this ideal. On our soil or not, domestic or foreign, people are willing to die for this principle. It’s not simply an issue or a problem to be legislated away, it’s the very essence of who we are, a cornerstone of our democracy, how we define ourselves as Americans.

One reason we have that peace and prosperity and statistical likelihood of dying from heart disease, is because of our powerful belief in our right to own guns and our obligation to defend ourselves. Quite simply if we hand that right to sort the bad guys from the good guys over to our government, we lose far more then our guns in this country. We lose everything we have fought so hard to try and build, values, ideals, freedom, the whole psyche of our nation. If we do that, our government becomes the good guys, the adults, and our people the potential bad guys, the children in need of constant supervision. This flips the power dynamic on it’s head and reverses the path.

Trigger warning:  Nobody cares.

F*ck your trauma.

Yes, f*ck your trauma. My sympathy for your suffering, whether that suffering was real or imaginary, ended when you demanded I change my life to avoid bringing up your bad memories. You don’t seem to have figured this out, but there is no “I must never be reminded of a negative experience” expectation in any culture anywhere on earth.

If your psyche is so fragile you fall apart when someone inadvertently reminds you of “trauma”, especially if that trauma consisted of you overreacting to a self-interpreted racial slur, you need therapy. You belong on a psychiatrist’s couch, not in college dictating what the rest of society can’t do, say or think. Get your own head right before you start trying to run other people’s lives. If you expect everyone around you to cater to your neurosis, forever, you’re what I’d call a “failure at life”. And you’re doomed to perpetual disappointment.

We The People run this country.  We need only realize it.

And if you didn't get the underlying message, he went on to say "I don't think it helped us with the general public. It doesn't help us with the public or the legislators." And, he added, "I'm not a fan of armed civil disobedience."

Coming from a guy who has never risked more than a paper cut opening fundraising envelopes . . . coming from a guy who was willing to trade away national background checks in the immediate aftermath of Sandy Hook . . . this was hardly surprising. He will do what he has always done when confronted with Bloomberg Rules. If he cannot sue it, if he cannot lobby a "compromise" that gives up a little more of other people's essential liberties and property, he will do . . . nothing.

Yet such "leaders" risk exposure and irrelevance in the new shifting paradigm. Legal challenges on all these Intolerable Acts are working their way through the courts. All have, up to now, failed. Elections have been fought and lost. Lobbying has been redoubled. Indeed, in the same interview Gottlieb asserted that the emergency was so grave that they had hired another lobbyist!

But the practitioners of armed civil disobedience, the resistance behind enemy lines in Connecticut, New York, Maryland, Colorado and Washington state, have ALREADY NULLIFIED BLOOMBERG RULES. And Michael Bloomberg himself doesn't seem to know whether to defecate or go blind.

The failures of the "mainstream gun rights groups" to protect liberty and property from Bloomberg's assaults have forced the American people -- an eminently practical people -- to make their own arrangements. If this risks exposing the increasing irrelevance of such groups there is nothing we can do about it. (Although there is certainly something THEY can do about it -- thinking and acting outside the boxes of their own comfort zones would be a good start.) But the fact of the matter is that, as demonstrated now by almost two years of experiences THERE IS NO UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAW THAT MIKE BLOOMBERG CAN BUY THAT WE CANNOT NULLIFY WITH ARMED CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE.

For the last time:  MY GOD-GIVEN HUMAN RIGHTS ARE NOT UP FOR A F*CKING VOTE.  THEY ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE HYSTERICAL WHIMS YOU CODIFY INTO LAW.  THEY ARE GRANTED ME BY THE LORD OUR GOD, AND NONE SHALL TRESPASS UPON THEM SO LONG AS I DRAW BREATH.

Yes, it's true.  Because anybody who rolls like this, is all right by me.

Omar Mahmood is a student at the University of Michigan. He considers himself a political conservative and a Muslim. And until recently, he enjoyed writing for both of the campus's newspapers: the institutional, liberal paper, The Michigan Daily, and the conservative alternative paper, The Michigan Review.


After penning a satirical op-ed for The Review that mocked political correctness and trigger warnings, The Daily ordered him to apologize to an anonymous staffer who was offended and felt "threatened" by him. He refused and was fired.


Last week, he became the victim of what The College Fix has described as a "hate crime." The doorway of his apartment was vandalized in the middle of the night; the perpetrators pelted the door with eggs and scribbled notes like "shut the f*ck up" and "everyone hates you you violent prick." They left copies of the offending column and a print-out picture of Satan.

Mr. Mahmood, I salute you.  While I believe that your faith is misguided, you have the heart and attitude of a true American.  Keep on fighting, my brother!
