The reason is that the 'need' for societal destruction cannot be explained in materialistic terms - which are the only terms possible in public discourse; and among those who deny the reality of God and creation. 

The true reason for societal destruction is that human society is Good and therefore needs to be destroyed. Society between Men is indeed one of the great and essential Goods of this mortal world; as Men at all times, everywhere, have acknowledged and acted-upon - quite naturally and spontaneously. 

The idea that this can and should be dispensed with is monstrous, outrageous and ridiculous... for anyone who is Not deep into the servitude of Satan. But then, that is precisely what we are dealing-with.

Of fisticuffs, honor and politics

I beg your forgiveness for using 'honor' in the same sentence as 'politics.'  Mea culpa and all that.

There are two types of fights outside of straight-up warfare.  One is a fight; a contest between honorable, civilized men, where a difference in opinion has become physical.  In this contest, there are commonly understood rules of engagement.  The other is a streetfight, where the only rule is that the winner is the one who lives to walk away.

Let's say Bob and Doug are fixin' to fight.  Bob said Doug was one of those, and Doug said Bob's mother was too, or however it started.  Both Bob and Doug, being civilized and honorable men, are entering the contest with the supposition that this is a fight, not a streetfight.  Fists start flying, and Doug ends up getting the worst of it.  Doug finally hollers out, "OK!  I give up!!"

Since this is a fight between civilized and honorable men, Bob immediately stops hitting Doug, probably helps him up, and if Doug fought a good fight and Bob's really righteous, Bob will buy Doug a beer.  Honorable, civilized men know that you don't keep beating on another honorable and civilized man who has surrendered.  This is a core concept of honor and civilization.

Now, let's posit that Doug says "I give up!" and then, when Bob turns away, Doug starts swinging again.  This changes the game.  Doug has proven himself to be a liar, untrustworthy--a dishonorable man.  Bob can no longer trust Doug's pleas of surrender, and therefore, this is no longer a fight.  It is now a streetfight, and Bob will continue the beating until he decides the fight is over, because that's how a streetfight works.  Doug decided to turn a fight into a streetfight, and Bob agreed to the terms Doug set.

If you're insufficiently conversant with the concept, go watch a bunch of John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies until it sinks in.  This is how men used to interact.  It worked.

Now, let us observe the current dynamic of Left/Globalist, Right/Nationalist interaction.  Now that the God-Emperor Trump has won the White House, and the Left has been repudiated at every level of government across the nation outside of the elitist coastal enclaves, we're hearing a whole lot of bleating from the defeated.  Talk of 'bipartisanship,' 'cooperation,' 'reaching across the aisle,' 'compromise' and all sorts of hippy-dippy, patchouli-soaked, kumbayah platitudes.

Those of you with a memory span longer than that of a fruit fly might remember these same folks back in '09-'10, when the Left had a supermajority in Congress, and held the White House.  As soon as they held the reins of power, it was all "We won, you lost, F.U."  All that peace and love stuff went right out the window.  It's what they've always done, and what they'll do again if they're ever given the chance.  This is the political equivalent of Doug saying "I give up!" and then swinging a brick at our heads the moment we turn our backs.  Anyone who, at this point, doesn't understand that this is--and always was--a streetfight, simply needs to sit down and shut up.

No, Leftists, we're not falling for it again.  We expected you to act with honor, and you proved yourselves honorless.  Now, the beating will continue until WE decide it's over.  We will not 'compromise' or 'cooperate.'  We will crush you, see you driven before us, and hear the lamentations of your women.  We wanted a straight fight.  You made it into a streetfight.  It was your call...now you can just deal with the consequences.

I and many conservative bloggers spend a lot of time laying into the Butthurt Brigade.  But, in this masterwork, we are faced with the sobering reminder that WE created these Special Little Snowflakes.  Not just their parents, but all of America needs to share in the blame.

I call these young people out for valuing illusory and subjective safety over liberty. I accuse them of accepting that speech is "harmful" without logic or proof. I mock them for not grasping that universities are supposed to be places of open inquiry. I condemn them for not being critical about the difference between nasty speech and nasty actions, and for thinking they have a right not to be offended. I belittle them for abandoning fundamental American values.

But recently a question occurred to me: where, exactly, do I think these young people should have learned the values that I expect them to uphold?


Today's college students came of age in the years after 9/11. What did we teach them about the balance between liberty and safety in that time?

The answer?  Nothing good, and definitely nothing they needed to know.  RTWT, but be prepared to own some uncomfortable truths.

Peter Grant opens a case of whoopass

With minor contextual variations, this is what every single Social Justice Warrior member of the Butthurt Brigade needs to have shoved into their brains--or whatever lukewarm tapioca passes for said organ.

You have not earned the right to criticize one who achieved so much in his lifetime - particularly not one who, even in the context of imperialist racism that every single European nation practiced in the 19th century, could say things like, "I could never accept the position that we should disqualify a human being on account of his color".

You have not earned that right because you have not achieved anything to set against, and be measured against, his achievements.  His example inspired more than one generation, and was remembered long after his death by both black and white Africans.  What example have you set by which to be remembered?  Flinging excrement at statues?

It doesn't matter what color your skin is, or what your background might be, or what your aspirations are.  What matters is what you achieve - and don't tell me that the lack of things of which you feel 'deprived' holds you back from achieving.  That's politically correct claptrap.  Good men and women in every nation, of every tribe, ethnicity, language, creed and color, have achieved great things after beginning in absolute poverty with nothing and no-one to help them.  They earned the right to criticize others on the basis that they proved themselves by their deeds.  You have not - at least, not yet.  When you have, come and talk to me again.  Until then, shut up.

The Rhodes Scholarships that Cecil John Rhodes founded have educated many of the world's leaders, including US Presidents.  His philanthropy is visible in the grounds on which your university stands, which he donated, and in Rhodes University in Grahamstown.  You apparently see no contradiction between deriving personal benefit from his generosity, and throwing excrement at his statue.  Shame on you.

Why the Jews?

Tyrants that want to control every action and thought of others are the most threatened by the "rebuke by the very existence" of the Jews, who by definition, i.e., whose very identity is defined as belief in a higher, mightier power than any that could ever be created by a human agent.

The existence of such divine contradiction in their midst renders true-believers in all forms of tyranny—from the Utopian Left with its all powerful, all-seeing State, to the current version of primitive Islamic murderers —unhinged to the extreme. And their first response it to kill, kill, kill that which so threatens their most cherished goals of utter dominance of their fellow man.

Where once I wondered "What do the Jews do to be hated so completely by so many ?"...I undertook to notice who hated them...and realized that considering the character of those who hated them, I wanted to be on the side of the Jews. For surely anyone so hated by so many demons and villains...is on the side of righteousness.

Here's how they pretend it works: Zero-Sum Game claims, falsely, that if Group A has more money, property or wealth than Group B,  it's because A somehow "stole" the wealth from B.

The fact that Group A gets educated, stays employed, works hard, and makes sacrifices, and Group B sits on their asses smoking dope and collecting welfare....

...has nothing to do with it, and if you say it does you're a "hater".


Surprise!  When you look at the groups of people who "hate the Jews"...it's pretty much always the sort of people who think this way...and have decided that the prosperity of the Jews, who do all the right things for success in the world...have somehow "stolen" a part of the wealth that should be theirs.

Yeah, that's pretty much it.

An olive branch

OK, Leftists, I'm actually not going to give you any shit in this post.  Really.


We have our disagreements, to be sure, but you might want to take a good look at this link.


Now, some of the groups listed as FedGovCo targets here ( "Military Veterans," "Open Border Opponents," "Militias," "Patriot Movement" ) will undoubtedly make you very pleased.  But notice the others on the list.  "Anti-War Individuals/Groups."  "Single-Issue Voters(Animal rights, Environmental)."  "Alternative Media, which provide 'interpretations of events and issues that differ radically from those presented in mass media outlets.'"


These people consider you as much of a threat to their power as they do us.  And they are ruthless in holding onto that power.  The solution is not to lobby FedGovCo to crush us, for if they succeed in doing so, they will turn on you next.


Those of you who haven't been completely consumed by your ideology, who still possess the capacity to work with those who may have differing opinions and viewpoints, may wish to reach out to your fellow Americans of the Conservative and Libertarian stripes.  Perhaps we can find some common ground, and work together to stop our common enemy:  the power-mad plutocrats running the show.

How America rolls

America was the first country on Earth that elevated the rights of the individual.  Hence, the Constitution begins with three words in enormous font: 


We the People


"We the people" are supposed to run this country, not crony corporatists and political hacks.  And that concept may finally be sinking in.  From coast to coast, Americans are simply refusing to comply with laws they see as unjust and unConstitutional.  


The latest example is the ongoing battle against Second Amendment infringements in Washington state.  Mike Vanderboegh  is one of those engaging in armed civil disobedience, and his friend and colleague David Codrea weighed in on his decision to do so earlier:

There's a growing movement that's getting sick and damned tired of all the posturing and games, while rights we clearly understand are ours are being denied by self-serving oathbreakers as citizens are intimidated and punished for exercising them. Some people are through asking. They're going to start taking back, especially where listening to the lawyers and the lobbyists has failed. 

Like it or not, that's what's happening. 

Look at the untold hundreds of thousands of gun owners, who simply wish to be left alone but who are adamant in demanding their rights, and who have thus refused to register their guns as ordered in places like California, New York and Connecticut.  

Look at how “authorities” know their demands have been ignored for all to see, and wish some of their impulse control-challenged media sycophants would stop calling attention to their impotence, and instead catch on to a self-imposed code of silence on mass “scofflaw” roundups that the major anti-gun groups seem to have adopted. Look at how government agents backed down from armed citizens at the Bundy Ranch. Look at how Oath Keepers maintained their armed rooftop vigils, despite unlawful police orders to stand down. 

Look at the resolve of Washington’s “I Will Not Comply” activists.

At the rally yesterday, Mr. Vanderboegh gave a fine speech which laid it out plainly:  Individual action will succeed where our 'leaders' have been failing.

This isn’t about “common sense gun safety” as they claim. This is about control – their control of a government monopoly of violence over the people. They don’t want to hear any dissent from you in the peanut galleries, so they will silence you. BUT THEY WILL SILENCE YOU IF, AND ONLY IF, YOU ALLOW THEM TO DO IT. Will you allow them to silence you? Will you? 

They hide behind their priveleges, this new parliamentary tyranny, this self-appointed Mandarin class of our so-called “betters” – they hide behind their alleged “purviews” and “parliamentary priveleges” and expect their designated bully boys of the Washington State Police to make you knuckle under – or else. 

It is not THEIR precious butts they put on the line with their unconstitutional diktats – oh, no, never their own – no, they misuse the good men and women of the Washington State Police to do that. For they are at heart cowards, and they know it. And they are right to be right about that one thing – firearms in the hands of the people scare them. They are as allergic to them as Dracula is to crucifixes and for the same reason – they get in the way of tyrannical appetites.

These folks not only made their point at the Capitol building, they brought their demands to the Governor's mansion as well:

We came out of the Capitol building feeling indescribable; we were fulfilling a blood-bought debt.  All the Founders ever asked of us was that we do our part, that we stand as they did.  They asked that we guard our liberty, but if it ever became necessary, that we stand in the breach and say no more. 

An unconstitutional law is no law at all. 

As we marched to the gate of the governor’s mansion, the State Patrol trooper watched us approach from his security booth.  We paused at the gate next to his door, and Rep. Shea and Rep. Scott stood in front of the crowd.  As the trooper slowly opened the door, he was greeted heartily and respectfully by the two people who were truly acting as the Representatives of the People.

This is how we're going to win.  By recognizing that our God-given human rights are not up for discussion or debate, and understanding that anyone attempting to curtail those rights is to be ignored, resisted, or dealt with however necessary...


...but never, ever obeyed.

Three-Fer

Leftism is not just a mental disorder...it is a mental disorder willingly embraced by its victims.  When one knowingly and willingly abandons logic and reason, can they even rightly call themselves human?

You cannot reason someone out of a stance he was not reasoned into. 

A Leftist is not someone who has an alternative political philosophy to yours, or different reasons. He is someone who, in the realm of politics, has decided to eschew philosophy and abandon reason. 

Leftism is what you get when you stop reasoning, kill it dead, and substitute word fetishes instead.

This guy, while he leans left, still has some common sense:

We are a nation of cowards. We are a nation of cowards, of sniveling pathetic cowards enforcing our fears with jackboots and guns upon those who do not share our fears. And men and women of courage? If they are not shot down, they have their children taken away, they are sent to jail, they are forced into penury. Because there is nothing that a nation of cowards fears more than those with courage.

We The People run this country.  We need only realize it.

And if you didn't get the underlying message, he went on to say "I don't think it helped us with the general public. It doesn't help us with the public or the legislators." And, he added, "I'm not a fan of armed civil disobedience."

Coming from a guy who has never risked more than a paper cut opening fundraising envelopes . . . coming from a guy who was willing to trade away national background checks in the immediate aftermath of Sandy Hook . . . this was hardly surprising. He will do what he has always done when confronted with Bloomberg Rules. If he cannot sue it, if he cannot lobby a "compromise" that gives up a little more of other people's essential liberties and property, he will do . . . nothing.

Yet such "leaders" risk exposure and irrelevance in the new shifting paradigm. Legal challenges on all these Intolerable Acts are working their way through the courts. All have, up to now, failed. Elections have been fought and lost. Lobbying has been redoubled. Indeed, in the same interview Gottlieb asserted that the emergency was so grave that they had hired another lobbyist!

But the practitioners of armed civil disobedience, the resistance behind enemy lines in Connecticut, New York, Maryland, Colorado and Washington state, have ALREADY NULLIFIED BLOOMBERG RULES. And Michael Bloomberg himself doesn't seem to know whether to defecate or go blind.

The failures of the "mainstream gun rights groups" to protect liberty and property from Bloomberg's assaults have forced the American people -- an eminently practical people -- to make their own arrangements. If this risks exposing the increasing irrelevance of such groups there is nothing we can do about it. (Although there is certainly something THEY can do about it -- thinking and acting outside the boxes of their own comfort zones would be a good start.) But the fact of the matter is that, as demonstrated now by almost two years of experiences THERE IS NO UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAW THAT MIKE BLOOMBERG CAN BUY THAT WE CANNOT NULLIFY WITH ARMED CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE.

For the last time:  MY GOD-GIVEN HUMAN RIGHTS ARE NOT UP FOR A F*CKING VOTE.  THEY ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE HYSTERICAL WHIMS YOU CODIFY INTO LAW.  THEY ARE GRANTED ME BY THE LORD OUR GOD, AND NONE SHALL TRESPASS UPON THEM SO LONG AS I DRAW BREATH.

Most of our internal pain is self-generating. That is to say how we think, what we assume, our habits, behaviors and beliefs create ways of thinking that cause us pain, strife and fear.

That's not say that the external world isn't f*cked up, it can be. But the belief that the world is ALWAYS f*cked up sets us on a course to prove it ourselves. What goes on inside of our head can make us look at an okay situation and overemphasize the bad so much that it makes it look like it's f*cked up. Worse is when a situation is good, we'll go out of our way to f*ck it up -- again reconfirming or belief that the world is f*cked up.
Now this is not to say the pain isn't real. It is. Just most of it is self-generated. Does bad shit that we didn't create happen? Yes. But again, most of our pain comes from inside ourselves -- especially when we take a bad event and run with it, make it the basis of our life's story and demand the world accommodate what has become our self-generating pain.

This is made more complicated because when you're hurting in this manner, you'll seek out ways to make it temporarily stop. This through booze, drugs, adrenaline (getting punched) and anger. It is at these times we feel both alive and pain free. All that other shit falls away and we are temporarily freed from what we're doing to ourselves from inside our own heads.

Yes, it's exactly like that.  I know--I lived that way for a good long time.  It can get better...if you take an honest, objective look at yourself and kick that ugly part of you out of the driver's seat.  Whether you think it's psychology or Satan, if you want to change your life, that guy has to go.

You do not read complicated books.


My house has a library, and we're running out of room in it.  I've been reading since I was younger than three, and my SAT's are in the 98th percentile.

You have no idea how incorrect you are.


You watch lots of TV, mostly Fox News, which rejoices in showing you endless images of angry foreigners and minorities in pain: tear gas explosions, fights in the streets, looting, this time involving sad, small-town black people in Ferguson, all of them protesting the acquittal of that murderous white cop.


There are a handful of shows I watch, but I'm not stupid enough to get my 'news' from any mainstream media outlet.  My TV viewing is likely about 2-3 hours a week.  And, while there are many instances of genuine police misconduct in this country, you've picked one which was actually a clean shoot.  I have no idea why you people support thugs above innocent victims.


Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.  Now, let's see if I can peg you, Mr. Morford.  Just a fun little mental exercise...


You’re a scared white male.  You wouldn't dream of living anywhere outside of a major city, and think that living near a university somehow makes you smart.  You might even have a college degree in something completely irrelevant like Sociology or Gender Studies.  You might have travelled outside America, to all those exciting places in Europe and Asia, but you wouldn't dream of going to such a gauche and uncivilized place like Africa.  Of course, you have completely failed to learn anything of use from your travels.  You did bring back a lot of souvenir knickknacks, though, so all your friends will know how well-travelled and worldly you are.


You read all the books that the cool kids do, like Das Kapital, The Bell Jar, Catcher In The Rye, etc., and can pontificate endlessly about them without actually forming an original thought.


You make it a point to be into whatever the newest, weirdest thing is, just for the sake of it.  You support the rights of women and gays, and simultaneously support Islam.  You're for freedom of religion for everyone but Christians, and you defend free speech for everyone but conservatives.


You get most of your news from NPR and any left-leaning site on the internet, but you'd never dream of reading one thing on the Blaze, Breitbart or any site that doesn't completely support every single Leftist talking point.  On the rare occasion you do encounter a differing point of view, you totally lose your shit and start hurling insults and character assassination instead of arguing the facts.

You get no say in whether or not His Imperial Majesty decides that drinking schnapps by the gallon is better than water because he’ll have to bloody well pay for his own liver transplant when the one he was born with explodes. You get no say in whether we decide that it’s twice as much fun driving a car with 8 cylinders as it is driving one with 4, because we pay the gas.


How statism wins is when we let the state stick their fingers in paying for the gas.

We didn't lose our freedom by giving up our rights.  We lost it by giving up our responsibilities.  Our rights naturally followed.

Yep, it's exactly like that.

The Berlin Wall was a symbol of the depravity and viciousness of the Marxist idea. Karl Marx was a pure hate monger masquerading as a social philosopher. His ideas may, in the end, be summarized thus: wealth can be gained only by stealing from others, and thus successful people are evil, and thus it is okay to threaten or kill rich people (or even people who are just a bit better off than you are), to steal their belongings, and to threaten anyone who might in the future have more stuff than you do. If you somehow get more things than other people, it is okay for other people to take your stuff, and if you resist, it is okay to beat you up or kill you.


Even more succinctly, Marxism is the idea that envy is laudable, and should be turned into social policy with the use of pervasive violence.


I am putting this more bluntly and baldly than the average Marxist would. They prefer concealing their central idea beneath a heavy blanket of words. They dress up their “philosophy” in avant garde costumes, adding layers of verbiage, complicated and counterfactual claims about language and logic, bizarre ideas about the nature of history, etc., all in the service of keeping people from seeing what they’re actually suggesting. What lies underneath is nothing much more than hate of people who have more stuff than you do, justified by little or nothing more than wanting to take what they have for yourself.

Yes...but what, exactly, IS it?

I'm talking about money.  What is money?  Too many people don't understand that:

...Money isn’t gold.  Money isn’t pieces of paper.  Money isn’t zeroes and ones on a computer server.  Money is human life and effort manifested in an agreed-upon form which is used as a convenient medium of exchange.

If you don't fully and completely understand that, re-read this until it sinks in.  It's important, Proglodytes--trust me.
