Our Favorite Spitfire, aka Ann Barnhardt, passes on a letter detailing the consequences of The Totally Safe And Absolutely Necessary For The Survival Of The Human Race Poison Vaccine:

I don’t want to speculate or put out wild conspiracy theories, but yesterday I received an email from my employer that went out to all patient care providers in our health system. The email detailed an entire set of guidelines and protocols that have been developed to rapidly identify, triage, and treat people who may be suffering an allergic reaction to either of the COVID vaccines. If reactions are as rare as we are being told, then why is this necessary? If the allergic reactions are typical of other medication allergic reactions, why does a different set of standards exist? All things to make you wonder.

Yeah.  Totally safe.  Big Pharma, Big Media and Big Government all agree.  What could possibly go wrong?

So, we've all heard about the latest child-rape scandal in the Catholic Church over there in Pennsylvania.  Seventy years, over 300 priests involved, and more than a thousand known victims so far--guarantee you many MANY more will come forward now that this has hit the headlines.


If you have the stomach to read through the report, you;ll notice that a whole lot of the things these priests were telling these kids, and doing to them, came straight out of the Black Mass.  Seriously.  Which means that many of these men were not only predators, but outright Satanists.  Satanist priests?  Well, yeah.  Satanists' favorite cover is being clergy.  Not only is it one of the ultimate forms of giving the bird to God, but it's so blatantly obvious that no one wants to believe it.

Consider, if you will, America in the 1950's.  Black and white, three-channel television was the Shiny New Thing.  Computers were just beginning to be conceptualized, and the internet wasn't even a gleam in DARPA's eye.  None of the horrors of Catholic Church sexual abuse had entered the public record.  Folks still trusted their secular and spiritual leaders.  Go back to that time, and try telling the parents in these parishes that the local Catholic priests are actually Satanists, and are raping their children.  You know what their reaction would be?

They'd want to have you locked up.  They'd think you were absolutely out of your mind.  They'd never believe it.  And yet, that was exactly the case, and it went on for seven decades. 

Now, tell me again how "crazy" Pizzagate is.

Of kit cars and Bruce Jenner

OK, now...that wasn't a weird title or anything.

I've been going around and around with various people concerning the whole transgender thing.  Let me spell it out for you so you know where I stand.

Do I believe that a person can have more of the opposite gender in their brain/soul than their own gender?  Yes.

Do I believe that said person is a human being and a child of God, and should not be hassled, demonized or otherwise screwed with?  Yes.

Do I believe that a person can actually change from one gender to another?  No.

Since the entire country is now all about The Bruce "Caitlyn" Jenner thing, we shall use him as an example.

First off, I don't really believe that Mr. Jenner is actually transsexual.  Ann Barnhardt, of all people, pointed out the obvious problem with this quote: 

"I am not gay. As far as I know, I am heterosexual. I've never been with a guy, I've always been married, raising kids."

(As far as you know?  You'd think after six decades, you'd have kind of figured out what you're attracted to.  It didn't take me a third as long to realize that I love plush women, and that's almost as stigmatized as being gay.)  Back to the subject, Ann's response was dead-on:

Um, if Jenner actually believed on even the shallowest level that he was a “woman trapped in a man’s body”, dontcha think he might say something like “I’m a lesbian”?

Yeah, pretty much.  A real MTF transsexual, if there be such, would have said exactly that.  So I tend to doubt the veracity of his claims.  However, even if I'm wrong, "sexual reassignment surgery" is not the panacea its proponents claim it to be*, and, in all honesty, it's an oxymoronic phrase.

Most of you probably aren't gearheads, although, given my mostly conservative readership, I may be wrong on that.  For those of you who haven't heard of kit cars, let me explain.

A kit car is a set of body panels, an interior and a host of other parts that you can graft to the chassis of a donor vehicle to make it look different.  Although there have been kits based around almost any widely-available platform, the most common donor was a VW Beetle, so we'll use that for our example.  You can make that old Beetle look like this(awesome), or this(made entirely of awesome with a side of awesome fries), or anything you can think of.  You can tweak and alter that body so that only the most hardcore, bleeds-motor-oil car freak would notice that things are not what they seem.

But it's still a VW Beetle.

No matter what it looks like, it's not a Porsche 917.  It's not an MG-TD.  It's a Volkswagen Beetle.  It's licensed and registered as a Volkswagen Beetle.  It's got the powertrain and performance of a Volkswagen Beetle.  It can't be anything else, no matter what you make it look like.

When "sexual reassignment surgery" can give a former woman a working penis and testes, or a former man a uterus and ovaries, and can either add or eliminate that Y chromosome, then I'll have no problem believing that one gender can 'transition' to another.  Until then, the whole concept is simply denying objective reality.  Until then, these people have not 'transitioned,' they have been castrated and/or mutilated.  These people are not being 'helped,' they are being reinforced in their delusions by people with, IMNSHO, a very sinister agenda.

So now you know my take on things.  HTH.

UPDATE:  So I wasn't mistaken--we really are bowing and scraping to the insane.

Example 7: A man who had his features surgically altered to (sort of) resemble a woman proclaims himself “the new normal.” No, it’s not normal. It is something than can be tolerated or accepted, but it is not normal. [Body Dysmorphic Disorder] But we are ordered not only to pretend it is normal, but to celebrate his “courage.” And anyone who refuses to buy into the delusion that a person with a penis is a woman is equated to a Klansman or a Nazi.

*  Remember, this study is in Sweden.  The most PC, tolerant, accepting environment for folks with sexual issues that you'll ever encounter.  "Social Oppression" fails as an argument here.

What's going on?

Democrats win election by stoking resentments, scapegoating productive people for the failures of unproductive people, looting the public treasury, and making monsters out of their opponents. These policies win elections very effectively particularly where voters are uneducated and ill-informed (i.e. dependent on Democrat-run schools and Democrat-run media), but as a strategy of governance, they are inherently dysfunctional. The resentments become hatred and violence, the productive people abandon the dysfunction until the dysfunctional are a voting majority, the public treasury is robbed bare, and you end up with… Detroit, Newark, Baltimore, St. Louis, Providence, Bridgeport, Camden, and all the other one-party urban hellholes, basically.

Democrats think that the dysfunction can be papered over by spending more of other people’s money. But that only works while there is money to spend.  The country is broke, which is why I think Baltimore is just the prelude of what’s to come.

What's behind it?

Let’s assume, for the moment, that Jade Helm 15 is not a thinly veiled military plot to take over the country lifted straight out of director John Frankenheimer’s 1964 political thriller Seven Days in May, as some fear, but is merely a “routine” exercise for troops, albeit a blatantly intimidating flexing of the military’s muscles.

The problem arises when you start to add Jade Helm onto the list of other troubling developments that have taken place over the past 30 years or more: the expansion of the military industrial complex and its influence in Washington DC, the rampant surveillance, the corporate-funded elections and revolving door between lobbyists and elected officials, the militarized police, the loss of our freedoms, the injustice of the courts, the privatized prisons, the school lockdowns, the roadside strip searches, the military drills on domestic soil, the fusion centers and the simultaneous fusing of every branch of law enforcement (federal, state and local), the stockpiling of ammunition by various government agencies, the active shooter drills that are indistinguishable from actual crises, the economy flirting with near collapse, etc.

Suddenly, the overall picture seems that much more sinister...

Where will it lead? 

But I am a soldier, and I know what must be done; and so I shall put away my sadness and I shall harness up the bitter steed of war, and gird myself up for the battle; and I shall ride out to meet the enemies of Liberty; not in rage, not for anger sake or the hope of vengeance; but because I swore an oath before God, to jealously guard our Republic and its Constitution against all enemies; Him I shall not disappoint, for He is my Hope and my Trust.

Perhaps the reason that two thirds of Americans don't vote, is that they just flat-out don't see the point. 


Things are going in the wrong direction.  You vote for candidates who are supposed to be against the policies that are driving us in the wrong direction, and then those candidates promptly roll over and collaborate with the people you put them in office to stop.


The game is rigged.  The Republic is dead.  I've been saying it for years, Ann's been saying it for years, and more and more people are starting to get it.

I refuse to lend any air of legitimacy to these proceedings.  And, seeing that McConnell, about a microsecond after the Historic Ass-Kicking, declared that the message was that "America is tired of political gridlock," I'm feeling pretty vindicated at the moment.  No, Mitch, America is tired of you holding us down while your 'opponents' repeatedly give it to us up the nether orifice.  And I have no doubt you know that; I'm just bemused that you're making your intention of continued surrender so obvious, so soon.  You meat-puppets really are arrogant beyond measure, aren't you?


Cold Fury dreams of something that will plainly never happen, but it's at least a heartwarming bedtime story.

Remember when, during the 2012 primaries, Newt absolutely blasted the “liberal”-media moderator during one of those ludicrously stacked debates? Remember what happened after? His popularity skyrocketed, and he won the SC primary walking away–UNEXPECTEDLY™. He ended up unable to sustain that momentum, of course, for all sorts of reasons. But the point about just how badly real Americans wish for someone to at last stand up to the insidious Cosa Nostra Sinistro in all its forms and branches, without flinching or equivocating, was gloriously made.


All that being so–and it is–why on earth would anyone worry about being civil to sworn enemies of freedom and proper American governance? What is to be gained by it? The only person worried about being civil to the Nazis (modern Progressivists’ ideological forebears) was Neville Chamberlain. What did THAT get him? A piece of paper that wasn’t worth bothering to read and another World War, that’s what. Being civil to Stalin and Kruschev (two more of Progressivism’s inspirations and ideals) didn’t make them less obstreperous or dangerous; it gave them a leg up, an edge they were all too happy to hold against our throats. I won’t even mention Putin here; it’s too sickening, and that gratuitous wound is still bleeding.


Don’t let’s be beastly to the Leftists; let’s be downright ruthless with them instead, at least as ruthless and vicious as they’ve always been to us. Preferably more so, until they’re well, truly, and permanently undone. Americans know perfectly well who and what they are, and we’re sick and tired of seeing our supposed champions crawling so obsequiously to them time after time and year after year. We much prefer some direct, bare-knuckles honesty hurled at them instead. If you GOPers would be at least as rough with them as you are with your own conservative base, we’d all be a lot better off. And you’d be a lot more popular, too.

Miss Barnhardt has a pretty accurate take on things.  Whatever your feelings on Catholics, gays or abortion, you have to admit that she's got the whole situation pretty much surrounded.  And, while I won't necessarily demand that the streetlamps of DC be decorated with swinging politicians(although I'd have a hard time calling it an unreasonable course of action), I will say that until Obummer and Holder are marched out of office in orange jumpsuits, I'm still calling this a bunch of "sound and fury and signifying nothing."

So let me lay out some simple TRUE PREMISES, and then ask a follow-up question.

A.)  The constitutional republic referred to as the United States of America no longer exists.  TRUE.
B.)  The Rule of Law is no longer in force in the former United States.  TRUE.
C.) The Constitution of the United States and the system of government it defines is therefore no longer in force.  TRUE.
D.) The body going by the name “United States Congress” has been rendered meaningless in praxis.  TRUE.
E.)  National-level representative politics in the former United States is a completely false facade, kabuki theater, designed to entertain and mollify the masses who are of average intelligence, and to launder looted money and enrich the oligarch class.  TRUE.
F.) Given the reality of the true premises above, any person who holds or seeks to hold national-level public office is, by definition, morally, intellectually and/or psychologically unfit to hold public office (The Barnhardt Axiom).  TRUE. 

Okay, so now my question.  What exactly are you people agog about?  Have we learned NOTHING?  NOTHING AT ALL?  It still hasn’t sunk in?  Do you not remember the 2010 midterms and how that was going to put the brakes on Obama once and for all?  DO YOU REMEMBER THAT?  Yeah. And what did they do?  Flip-all.  Zippo.  Nada.  I don’t give a crap if the “US Congress”, both houses, are UNANIMOUSLY republican.  What the hell does it matter?  No.  Stop.  Stop and think.  Answer the question, because it is not rhetorical.  You tell me.  WHAT DOES IT MATTER?

But perhaps the very last word regarding the obvious decline and fall of the United States comes from our buddies at DethGuild:

Secession--on a regional, state, county, city or personal level--may be a tactical error...but it's becoming the only available option to anyone who actually understands the concepts of Liberty and Free Will.  Will we possibly die on our feet, or certainly live on our knees?

Yes...but what, exactly, IS it?

I'm talking about money.  What is money?  Too many people don't understand that:

...Money isn’t gold.  Money isn’t pieces of paper.  Money isn’t zeroes and ones on a computer server.  Money is human life and effort manifested in an agreed-upon form which is used as a convenient medium of exchange.

If you don't fully and completely understand that, re-read this until it sinks in.  It's important, Proglodytes--trust me.

Three-fer

A bunch of that boring stuff about economics and finance.

So now you may be thinking that this will cause a feedback loop to occur and rates will continue to be driven more and more negative.  Yes.  Absolutely.  Because the Central Bank will have to keep adjusting its rate down to stay “more negative” than the Sovereign bond and other money markets.  What happens when customer deposit rates go sufficiently negative so as to compel normal people to withdraw their cash from the banks and hold it in cash?  The answer is, the oligarchs will enact government policies outlawing the use of cash.  Think I’m crazy?  Have you tried paying your car insurance bill with cash lately?  Cash.  As in hundred dollar bills.  How about your phone or utility bill?  Guess what.  You can’t. 

One of the big reasons why I had to move into the “Van Down by the River” was because I simply COULD NOT FUNCTION using cash.  When I was foreclosed upon because I could not provide the bank with a tax return (because I have declared a tax strike), I began investigating possible rental scenarios in preparing to move.  Kids, you CANNOT rent an apartment “above the table”, pay the utilities on said apartment, insure a vehicle and scores of other necessary expenses in the former U.S. using cash today.  Between IRS liens and mortgage foreclosures, my credit score is destroyed, which also disqualifies above-board rental.  If you think that cash controls and the move to outlaw the use of cash is crazytalk, just stop and think about all of the myriad ways that IT IS ALREADY IMPOSSIBLE to pay with cash.  We’re already 75% of the way there. 

So, there would be increased economic depression causing new lending to crater and thus squeezing commercial banks’ margins and causing them to demand a way to dump ALL consumer debt, including business loans, car loans and credit cards, off on the government in the form of guarantees (this is precisely what already happened in the real estate market with almost all mortgages being bundled and dumped onto Fannie and Freddie).  Couple this with the confiscatory tax on deposits AND the paying of banks to borrow from the discount window by the government (aka the people) in order to recapitalize the banks, and what you have is nothing less than the COMPLETE NATIONALIZATION OF THE BANKING SECTOR.  This will inevitable require the outlawing of sovereign currency (cash), which will inevitably lead to the REJECTION of the sovereign currency, and the emergence of a “black” alternative.  We are talking, ladies and gentlemen, about nothing less that the final, complete destruction of the economy, which will inevitably lead to the total collapse of the extant government and what scattered vestiges remain of the Rule of Law.

Of course, all that conspiracy nonsense about the UN coming to take our guns is nothing but a bunch of extreme right-wing paranoia.  Right?

It appears the United Nations anticipates economic collapse and armed revolt in the United States and they are looking for a few good Peacekeepers with "experience with small arms control, conflict/post-conflict crisis management, and economic recovery". 

The U.N. is hiring a "Disarmament, Demobilization, and Re-integration (DDR) officer" for the apparent purpose of disarming American citizens as the "duty station" is New York City, USA.  

The U.N. defines "disarmament" as "the collection, documentation, control and disposal of small arms, ammunition, explosives and light and heavy weapons from combatants and often from the civilian population."

I dare any pro-choice person to answer this guy in a sane and logical manner.  I'm not holding my breath, though.

Here now is the next stage in the abortion movement. It’s not enough to win in the courts and the Congress, they want to win in American’s heart and soul. It’s not enough for abortion to be legal, it needs to be loved. That’s why these kinds of movies exist, to promote abortion as something positive, affirming, constructive, empowering.

Now stop and think about this.  How can I possibly, possibly confirm that this guy, who I have indeed corresponded with via email, actually is who he says he is?  We all now know for a metaphysical certitude that all of our email has been logged and may have been read by FEDGOV.  We MUST assume that FEDGOV is every bit as knowledgable of our data and correspondences as we are.  How do I know that this man standing before me really is ‘Disturbed Citizen’?  There is no possible way for me to confirm this.  I don’t know what ‘Disturbed Citizen’s’ name is, so asking for an I.D. is pointless.  I don’t know what ‘Disturbed Citizen’ looks like, so visual confirmation is off the table.  And the enemy has FULL ACCESS to all correspondence between myself and the real ‘Disturbed Citizen’, and thus can quote and make references WITH FULL CONTEXT AND DETAIL.

Do you see this?  Given the tactical situation, the proper course is NOT for us to hide.  That ship sailed a LONG time ago.  The only thing that hiding behind aliases, handles and noms de guerre accomplishes is opening a HUGE door to the enemy such that they can infiltrate us with ease never-before-seen in the annals of war.  The proper tactic is to BE NOT AFRAID and come out from behind aliases and handles NOW.

Now, take me, for example.  If I were to roll into some event somewhere, people would know who I was by name and by sight, and if they did not know who I was, I could quickly and easily confirm my identity and bona fides.

5 Really Depressing Things and then Some Music

1. The single most depressing thing to watch is the 36 hour news cycle of the populus. I can't understand it. I can't understand how it is that you people just collectively let massive, massive crimes go as soon as the media spoon-feeds you the next "big story". This has to be a function of the diabolical coupled with God withdrawing His grace. Memory is a gift from God. To choose to not use it, to choose to suppress it is a sin.

2. Um, yeah, it was reported about 48 hours ago (now outside the window, apparently) that the Obama regime has forced all of the Benghazi survivors to sign "non-disclosure agreements", which means all of those people were threatened with their jobs, and perhaps more importantly their PENSIONS, and thus they all, to a man, so far, have ROLLED OVER and SOLD OUT.

THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is why I fear the field grade officers and flag officers in the United States Military. I doubt there is ONE who would call bee-ess and go full bayonet charge if they were so much as threatened with losing their precious, precious pension. "I just have to make it x more years."

No, sweetie. You just need to make it through your Particular Judgment. Which leads to nausea-inducing point number three...

3. All of the FEDGOV pension money is totally being raided. I picked up on a Market-Ticker.org thread that the way the FEDGOV is keeping from "hitting the debt ceiling" is by raiding the TSP accounts, which stand for "Thrift Savings Accounts". Those are all of the retirement accounts of government employees, basically government 401ks. Yeah. The Obama regime raids the TSP accounts, leaves an I.O.U., and it washes out on the balance sheet since it is all "gubmint", and thus the "debt ceiling" is not breached.

Here is a citation on this practice from January.

These morons, including the Benghazi survivors, are selling out in order to salvage their precious, precious pensions which have zero chance of paying out, and the money **may already be gone anyway**. You can't make this stuff up. Centuries from now, you know what historians are going to look back and say? It will be something like, "These people were so bleeping stupid and PATHETIC that they deserved everything they got in spades."

4. Yes, my supernova analogy would have been so much better if I had assumed that the supernova resulted in a black hole, not a white dwarf. Yes. Absolutely. This is all going to end in a black, sucking vortex of subatomic carnage. What was I thinking? Must be the exhaust fumes from the Van Down By The River getting to me.

5. A reader sent in this quote from KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov. A full interview of Bezmenov recorded in the early 1980's (I think) is widely available on YouTube. The regime isn't censoring these things because the vast majority of people are too stupid to listen to anything that lasts more than seven seconds. But, I'll let Bezmenov sum it up. This is the KGB's definition of "ideological subversion":
"To change the perception of reality, of every American, to such an extent that despite the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their countrymen."
YEP!

6. Now something pretty. Sigh.

It's true...God help us.

Tell me that the regime through the infiltrated "schools" hasn't created an entire society of people who refuse to think. Look around you. Your neighbors aren't just uneducated, they are now, in their current state, uneducable. Objective evidence means NOTHING. Reality means NOTHING. Truth means NOTHING. All that matters is SENTIMENT, and not just sentiment, but irrational, evil, immoral sentiment. So, switch off. Stop thinking. Just let "us" take care of you.

If you know how bad the situation is and don’t feel the need to subject yourself to any more of my patented Barnhardt Phillipic and Funeral Dirge for Civilization, take your leave now, because I honestly think that this is the the saddest, most profoundly depressing post I have yet written.

And I’ve written a few.

A few thousand.

The topic is the US Dollar, and currency in general. The Federal Reserve has been willfully and systematically debasing the US dollar for a century by claiming that 2% inflation is the benchmark of a healthy economy. Since the universities and media have been overrun by Marxists, there is hardly anyone alive who A.) is in possession of the capacity to independently think and reason their way through such a question and B.) anyone who cares in the first place.

In addition to the slow grinding debasement by the Fed, the Marxists have finally fully usurped and overthrown the government of the United States, and thus have now executed the coup de grace: wild, flagrant money "printing", and by "printing", please understand that we are not talking about the fabrication of paper bills. We are talking about computerized entries into the Federal Reserve’s ledger. The Fed literally types in an addition of x billion or y trillion dollars into its balance sheet – creating dollars out of thin air that exist as zeroes and ones on a computer server – and then use those new dollars to purchase US Treasury bonds. In this way, the Obama regime and its puppetmasters have debased the US dollar by roughly one half the total GDP in less than four years. This iteration of both the United States and the US Dollar are over. There is no way to walk back the damage that the Obama regime has done. They have accomplished their mission, no matter what happens from this day forward.

After reading and reviewing my texts on monetary theory from Mises, Hayek, Friedman and contemporary economists including Denninger, I have come to a profound realization about money and the fiat vs commodity money (i.e. gold-backed currency) debate – and it bodes very, very poorly for us.

First, a few preliminary points.

1. Going to a gold standard will solve nothing. This is not to say that I don’t think that gold and silver are good wealth storage vehicles in this situation. To the contrary, I think they are excellent for these times. BUT, simply reverting to the gold standard, in and of itself, will not turn us around. We will, at some point, be FORCED to revert to the primordial commodity currency paradigm simply because our government and society will collapse, and thus our currency with it. If and when our culture rebuilds itself, if we remain as we are, the exact same problems that have arisen under the fiat money system will emerge again, even under a gold-backed currency.

So why has civilization, up until just within the last few decades, operated on commodity money systems, and why is it plausible to think that any fiat currency could ever have any legitimacy? The reason why civilization has used commodity money, namely gold and silver, up until just recently is because up until just recently, there was no way to instantly verify money held on deposit, or the existence of a line of credit. With computers and the internet, such instant checks are as common as breathing, blinking and walking. We don’t even think about it anymore. We go to the sandwich shop, get our sandwich, and in less than three seconds, the vendor has confirmed that we have funds, and then transferred those funds into his account. In the centuries and millennia past, people would load chests filled with gold coinage and jewels onto sailing ships and set out for distant lands. Why did they take their gold and jewels with them and risk losing that money to shipwreck or piracy? Because they had to take it with them. The only way to confirm your wealth to others was to physically possess it. Physical possession and spot exchange was also the only way to execute mercantile transactions. If we lose telecommunications and computing ability due to the successful detonation of an Electromagnetic Pulse weapon, or simply due to the total breakdown of society and the ability to maintain and power such systems, then indeed, this argument will become moot. BUT, so long as there is near-instant data transmission, commodity money will be theoretically optional (*with a qualifier to be addressed later in Part 3).

While we are looking at history, it bears mentioning that metals-backed currencies have not prevented other economic calamities. Just in the United States, the Great Depression of the 1930’s and the post-Civil War depression of 1873-1879, now called the Long Depression, which was actually caused by the manipulation of silver demand by the German Empire, were not magically prevented by metals-backed currency. Returning to a gold standard would not prevent recessions from happening. In fact, recessions are a necessary fact of economies, and serve to deflate bubbles and restore equilibrium. The only people who promise to eliminate economic recessions are Marxists, and that is because Marxists are liars. Just as all respiring beings on earth must both inhale and exhale, so too must economies. A person who perpetually inhaled would eventually burst their lungs and die. Conversely, a person who could only exhale would asphyxiate and die. But both actions, in a balanced, moderate cycle, are the definition of health. It is the same with economies: periods of expansion followed by a healthy, normal contraction that deflated any bubbles and restored equilibrium, thus setting up the next expansion phase.

2. Metals-backed currencies can be corrupted, too. There are two ways to corrupt a metals-backed currency, and it has happened many, many times throughout history. The first means pertains to coinage, and is to corrupt the metal itself with cheaper metals, such as zinc. The Roman denarius was debased from 4.5 grams of pure silver to less than one tenth of a gram of silver. Hyperinflation was the inevitable result, and the currency had to eventually be totally replaced.

The second means, which pertains to paper and electronic currency, is for the government to lie about the reserve quantity. This could either be done by explicitly lying about the number of ounces in storage, OR could be done by clandestinely issuing dollars to cronies of the oligarchy, which were NOT actually backed by any metal, and thus would be a de facto lie as to the supply. Since the people would be unable to demand a daily audit and reconciliation, the ability to police and reconcile the supply of metal and dollars would be impossible, and exactly the same things that are going on today, namely government looting of the Treasury and debasement of the currency, would continue apace.

The problem lies in our overtly criminal government, obviously, but also in the banking paradigm itself. Fractional reserve banking with unsecured lending has got to go. In the current banking paradigm, banks are required to keep from zero percent to ten percent (yes, that’s right, ZERO PERCENT) of customer deposits on hand as reserves, and loan the rest of the money out. If a customer deposits $100 in Bank A, $90 is lent out and $10 remains as reserve (and this is the CONSERVATIVE version). Whoever borrowed the $90 then deposits it in Bank B. Bank B then lends out $81 and keeps $9 in reserve. And so on, and so on. If you go through ten cycles this way, you end up with the original $100 being leveraged into $686.19 of deposits backed by only the original $100. This is what they call "money creation." For you math buffs, this is a limit function. With a 10% reserve requirement on a $100 initial deposit sum, the limit terminates at $1000. With a 5% reserve requirement on $100, the limit terminates at $2000. With a zero percent reserve requirement, the limit is obviously infinite. A reasonable, non-zero reserve ratio is workable, but only so long as banks are required to carry one dollar of reserves for every one dollar they lend out. These reserves can be either in the form of the bank’s own capital, OR in the form of FAIRLY VALUED booking of the assets purchased with the loan. All unsecured lending must stop. This means that all home mortgages must be marked-to-market every single day, and if the home is worth less than the loan outstanding, the bank must post its own capital against the shortfall. This also means that credit cards, which are totally unsecured because they are used to purchase mostly non-assets, such as meals, gasoline, vacations and pure service commodities, must be backed by bank capital dollar-for-dollar. The bank could sell bonds to raise capital if it wants to make unsecured loans and then would be arbitraging the spread between the interest rate it must pay on the bonds and the interest rate plus default risk on the credit cards. In this way, the worst that could possibly happen, namely every unsecured credit line totally defaulting, would result in the bank owners and investors losing their money – but the customer deposits would be safe because all of the loans against hard assets, which would be properly valued and marked-to-market, could be sold to other banks in the market, and that revenue would fully cover all customer deposits.

In not posting capital against unsecured loans, the banks are indeed naked short selling our currency – and it matters not whether that currency is gold-backed or not. The credit card customer is promising to pay back (deliver) a loan with money that they do not have and does not exist, and they won’t be able to borrow. So, the bank and the customer together are colluding in the naked short sale. The long on the other side is the citizen and taxpayer who will subsidize the inevitable "need" to print more dollars to "bail out" both the bank and the customer. Taxes will be raised and the currency will be further debased, causing price inflation – a one-two punch to the citizen. This is EXACTLY what is happening to us today.

Well, the reality today is that banks are both writing massive quantities of unsecured loans and doing nothing on their side to balance the ledger, AND they are failing to honestly and realistically book the values of their hard-asset loans. The big banks are still booking home values at their original purchase price – not the fair market value today. Given the housing bubble, most mortgages today are underwater and are worth far, far less than the principal balance to say nothing of interest. This is why I say, echoing others, that the major banks in this country are not just totally insolvent, they are insolvent multiple times over. If the government wasn’t criminal and the favored banks of the oligarchs actually had to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, the entire system would implode into a singularity tomorrow.

And that brings us to the conclusion and actual point.

All of the stuff outlined above is all well and good to talk about, but as I was reading, including opposing thoughts from other schools, including the Austrian School which advocates full-reserve banking in some instances, namely demand deposits – a possibility to which I am not entirely opposed – I kept running into the 400 pound gorilla, which is silently acknowledged, but never really discussed, because the discussion would inevitably lead to talk of morality and thus . . . religion.

At the end of the day, any currency is backed not by physical commodities or a collective abstraction called "a government". No. A currency is backed by the character and integrity of men that constitute the issuing nation or body. In short, WE ARE THE GOLD. We are the bearers of the "full faith and credit" which backs our Federal Reserve notes today. And that, dear readers, is why this country is not going to turn itself around anytime soon, and is almost certainly doomed in the short-run.

Every text I read over the last few days always included a very brief caveat that all of the preceding theory was, of course, contingent on a moral society with a functioning rule of law, honest regulation and a populace that was mostly honorable and trustworthy. This caveat was phrased differently in each instance, but it was always there, hanging over everything else like a fine mist. If you have a nation of moral degenerates, all bets are off. If the people are more dishonest than honest, and the government is nothing more than a mafia, then all economic systems and all postulations fly apart at the seams. If there is no rule of law, and if theft, graft and looting are the prevalent systems of economic activity, then no matter what your banking system, no matter what your currency – fiat or commodity-backed, your system and your economy will absolutely, positively fail eventually.

Sadly, that is where we are in this country. Sure, there are still good people, but as a percentage it isn’t even remotely enough to bear the burden of the massive moral degeneracy of the others. Even among those people who would never steal or loot, there is a decided lack of courage to stand up to those who do steal and loot. The MF Global confiscation proves this. People have mostly rolled over and accepted having their money stolen, shrugging their shoulders and telling themselves that there is nothing they can do – and then going back for more, continuing to patronize the very exchange that facilitated the theft and fraud. To my knowledge, only one broker has exited the field on purely moral grounds in a pre-emptive action to protect clients, and as a protest to the injustice of the system itself.

Our government is saturated with corruption, looting and outright treason and criminality, and yet most people simply cannot be bothered to care, much less to act, and are thus passively complicit. A non-trivial percentage of the population are planning and maneuvering to best "benefit" or profiteer from the criminality and fundamental dishonesty of the paradigm. Others are attempting to enter the oligarch class themselves under the guise of running for political office – and make no mistake, this encompasses both the so-called left and the so-called right on the political spectrum. The degeneracy is everywhere.

The fall of a society can happen very quickly. Our society has taken roughly 50 years to topple. If the previous example of the Russian culture is any example, we can expect it to take many multiples of 50 years to undo this damage, if and only if the pendulum has reached its maximum amplitude and now begins to swing back, which I fear has not yet happened. Morality cannot be legislated. Cultures cannot be purged of evil, selfishness and sloth overnight – even with a war. I cannot lie to you and tell you that short of Divine Intervention, this situation will resolve itself in any of our lifetimes. We had "it." We had "it", and we squandered "it", and now "it" is gone, and no governmental, economic or monetary policy will get "it" back. "It" can only come from God, dwelling in the hearts of men, and God only comes to men if they specifically ask Him.

We, the people, always have been and always will be the ultimate backing commodity of our currency, because at its core, money is merely the representative device for a man’s capacity to produce and create. Dishonest men do not create or produce. They steal. Thus, the currency of a morally degenerated society is by definition degenerate itself. The currency of a degenerate society is the proxy not for a man’s ability to work and think, but rather a proxy for a man’s capacity to steal and evade work.

We used to be like gold – beautiful and warm. Now we are like pig iron – cold, brittle and good-for-nothing. And THAT is what constitutes the "full faith and credit" that backs the U.S. Dollar. So long as our culture remains degenerate, our currency can never be anything but spiraling, worthless trash.

On Benghazi and 'Expendable Faggots'

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, along with the rest of the regime players, murdered Ambassador Chris Stevens. It was a hit. It wasn't incompetence. It wasn't deer-in-the-headlights collective inaction. It wasn't a kidnapping plot gone wrong. It was a hit.

The whole incompetence argument is simply the domain of moral and intellectual cowards who insist upon seeing the world through rose colored glasses and deny objective reality. My contempt for these people knows no bounds. It's one thing to be stupid. It is quite another to be a coward. Cowardice is a pure moral choice. This is why courage is the fruit of the Third Sorrowful Mystery (the crowning with thorns). If courage was a genetic phenotype, as baseline intelligence largely is (as opposed to willful ignorance), then Our Lord would not desire that we pray for the grace of courage every day. Show me someone arguing that the Obama regime is incompetent and I'll show you a quivering little coward.

Next is the whole "kidnapping plot gone wrong" argument. Sorry. It doesn't hold water. First, the theory that Obama wanted to do a prisoner exchange of Ambassador Stevens for the Blind Sheik right before the election in order to look like some sort of hero is simply ludicrous. Americans would have been repulsed and disgusted by such a move. Americans don't cotton to capitulation to kidnappers. And releasing the Blind Sheik? No, this would have worked against Obama in public opinion. The fact of one of our Ambassadors being kidnapped at all would have come off as a sign of profound weakness, and releasing the Blind Sheik would have pegged the needle on the ol' wimp-o-meter.

Next, this kidnapping scenario assumes that the Obama regime was relying on fairly contested elections, had no election fraud teams in place in the major metro areas of the swing states, and/or was truly Nixonian in its desire for a unanimous victory. Again, nope. They clearly weren't going for a unanimous or near-unanimous electoral college sweep as Nixon was trying to do. They were all about targeted fraud in the swing states. They had no care or concern about winning Kansas, Wyoming or Oklahoma. The motives simply don't match up.

Finally, we have to ask why the Clintons were co-conspirators in the murder of Stevens. WHY are the Clintons a.) participating in the initial murder of Stevens and b.) not throwing Obama and Jarrett under the bus? The Obama machine stole the 2008 primaries from Hillary, and both Bill and Hillary personally loathe Obama and his Chicago crew. Why this unholy demonic alliance?

Because Chris Stevens was a lynchpin in the running of arms by the Obama regime and Clinton's State Department in full cooperation with each other to the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda through Libya. And yes, it is absolutely sane and appropriate to assume that Huma Abedin (Hillary's consigliere and daughter of high-ranking Muslim Brotherhood leaders) figures into this. Both Obama's White House and Hillary's State Department were mutually and equally tied to this arms running, and both of their bacons were equally in the fire. The Obama White House, I am convinced, has plans for the retention of power beyond 2016 (Michelle?), and Hillary thinks she is going to be POTUS from 2017-2025. The bottom line is that the duumvirate of the most dangerous, evil psychopaths on the face of the earth decided for slightly different reasons that Ambassador Stevens needed to be dead in order to cover the gunrunning to the Muslim Brotherhood, and so together, they killed him. They withdrew all of his security (at the behest of the State Department), told the Muslim Brotherhood that it was all-clear, guaranteed that there would be no response or retaliation to an attack (only the Oval Office could issue the stand-down order), and even put the cherry on top by instantly framing the entire hit as some sort of musloid blasphemy propaganda. That was just gratuitous. Sickeningly gratuitous.

If it had been a kidnapping plot, Chris Stevens would have been KIDNAPPED. Remember, he had almost no security in the end. He wouldn't have been gang raped, killed and then had his dead body gang raped again.

The Clintons have a long history of having people murdered, all the way back into the early 1980's in Arkansas. Vince Foster. Ron Brown. These people are psychopaths and murderers. You have to deal with this.

The Obama machine, being neo-Stalinist, is also murderous, having seen to the assassination of at least three of Barry's sodomy partners from Trinity UCC cult on the South Side of Chicago. Purely as an aside, don't you think that it is odd that an attention whore like Jeremiah Wright saw three members of his cult murdered within just a few weeks of one another and never said a WORD publicly about that? No demands for a full FBI investigation on the front steps. No march through the streets with Jesse Jackson and Fr. Pfleger demanding that justice be done and that the targeted killings of his flock be given the highest priority by law enforcement. Nope. Nothing. It's almost as if Wright was neither surprised nor alarmed by the rapid serial killing of his "parishioners". I wonder what POSSIBLE EXPLANATION there could be for that?

Sadly, Chris Stevens was just another "expendable faggot" in the eyes of the Obama-Clinton machine. He was a dead man the day he accepted the position. And doesn't it seem odd that the Obama-Clinton machine would send a known sodomite man to be the ambassador to an unstable, backward muslim country to begin with? Again, it was probably done intentionally as a last-ditch hedge, an ace-up-the-sleeve as it were. Stevens could be killed, and then turned into some sort of sodomite martyr as a last-ditch plan. But, they didn't need that. They had the "blasphemy video". Eyeroll.

Finally, I would like to reiterate that the ultimate "expendable faggot" is Barry himself. I worry. I worried terribly after he showed up stoned to the first debate. I continue to worry now. Barry the man is in no way any sort of intellectual driver behind the regime. He is a puppet, a facade, a lazy imbecile and sodomite and nothing more. If the drivers decide that he is worth more dead than alive, assassinating their "expendable faggot" would be the mother of all Reichstag Fires, and would likely result in instant suspension of the Constitution and martial law. IF BARRY IS ASSASSINATED, THE FIRST THING THAT A TEXAS, A KANSAS, AND ANY OTHER REMNANT STATES LOYAL TO THE CONSTIUTION SHOULD DO IS SECEDE. LIKE, WITHIN MINUTES.

And you people keep paying taxes into this.

Moving Days

I'm moving so posts will be thin for a few days.

First, thanks to the buyer of the license plate for an amazing $1337. Once again, I am humbled.

Thanks also to all of the folks sending me emails telling me that I am a fraud and a thief and a moral degenerate for doing my estate sale auctions. Yes, I know. I can't win. If I sell stuff I'm going to hell for being a money-grubbing fraud, and if I don't do anything I am being prideful in not asking for help when it is needed, and there is nothing that sends a person to hell as quickly and surely as the sin of pride. So, yeah. It's pretty much existential for me. Waking up breathing makes me a sinner. Please pray for me. Obviously.

And, just so you know, the hits keep on a-comin'. After being told by the phone company that they were charging me a $1200 cancellation fee, the next day the security system company told me that they were going to charge me a $1000 termination fee.

The first punch didn't quite destroy my kidney. Please, just punch me right there again. It's cool. I have another kidney, so no prob.

But in all seriousness, this is just a testament to how far gone our culture is, and not just on the macro level. Fifty years ago people would never treat others like this. If someone went broke, or whatever, generally people didn't kick them when they were down. If contracts became untenable, human decency kicked in and contracts were voided according to A.) common sense and B.) human decency.

This ruthless interpersonal behavior is a direct function of the decent into Marxist-Communism or whatever you want to call this. When human beings are reduced to economic units by the government, that eventually trickles down to the personal level. It is the ultimate irony. Capitalism tempered by Christian culture has a built-in incentive for people to be good to each other - in business it is called "goodwill", and it is a very real asset. So while the Marxists lyingly claim that they will deliver a charitable, merciful culture, it is exactly the opposite. Marxism makes people ruthless, hard and unforgiving. Capitalism restrained by Christian culture yields the most fertile ground for charitable interpersonal dealings.

The funny thing is, if the security system company would have been cool about it, I would have totally plugged them here on the blog. They really were a good company in terms of their service. After I burned the koran I upgraded and added video surveillance and all the bells and whistles, and it was great. Too bad they blew the opportunity for massive "goodwill".

And no, I won't say their name in order to poison their well. I'll just bear their hardness with a smile - thanks to all of you.

I'd rather go up against people who flat-out want to destroy me and make no bones about it.  At least then, it's a straight fight.  Unfortunately, we're dealing with people who don't hate us, necessarily; they just don't care.  They're "just doing their jobs," and the consequences of their actions never cross their minds. They've been trained very well not to think, just to follow directions.

I have some sympathy for those who've been brainwashed to this degree.  I really do.  But I'm fast developing the mindset that "ignorance is no excuse." This crap has to stop if we've any hope of reviving a culture of civilized human beings.

The Big Pulchra Vera Essay

If you scroll down, I made a post in January titled "Pulchra Vera", which I intend to be a periodic feature - just a catchall post for any little bit of beauty that I stumble across, be it music, art, poetry, prose, pictures of beautiful things in outer space, whatever. You will recall that "pulchra" means beauty and "vera" means true, or genuine. So Pulchra Vera in this sense means "genuine beauty".

In this essay, however, I am going to play on those words a bit and address the beauty of Truth Itself. Truth and beauty are both constitutive qualities of God. Things that are true are true BECAUSE they are congruent with or of God. One plus one equals two not because your teachers said so, or because centuries ago a bunch of really smart Greek guys took a vote and decided that was how it was going to be. No. One plus one equals two because mathematical truth, as a subset of all truth, is contained in God Himself, and it is thus extant within His creation, and beyond that is a way for us to see and know Him. "The heavens shew forth the glory of God, and the firmament declareth the work of His hands."

But what happens when the truth is actually ugly? Does it lose its beauty? Should ugly truths be suppressed? Should painful truths be hidden, or even denied?

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Goodness gracious this is so important. Please pay good attention to this.

When the truth is ugly, it must STILL be declared. Boldly. Loudly. Persistently. Failure to declare ugly truths is itself an act of dishonesty, a bearing of false witness, and it makes impossible any attempt to push through the superficial ugliness and get to the pure, holy beauty beyond. If you refuse to declare ugly truths, then progress (in the good sense of the word) is halted. Everything stops and the only direction that has any freedom for movement is BACKWARD, away from truth, and thus away from God Himself.

Guys, this dynamic is EVERYWHERE around us today, and it is why civilization is going to implode any day now. No one will declare any ugly truths, and thus we have hit the wall as a civilization.

Examples:

The Catholic church has been massively infiltrated by a cabal of Marxist-homosexualists who hate God and are actively trying to destroy His Church from the inside out. In excess of 90% of ethnic Catholics in the west have stopped attending Mass in the last 50 years since the Marxist-homosexualists destroyed the Mass and began preaching Marxism, tolerance of infanticide and sexual deviancy. Anyone who says otherwise is simply a liar. They are bearing false witness, no matter what their motivation.

The entire global economy and financial system are massive, mathematically impossible Ponzi scheme and debt bubble that can never, ever be repaid with "money". The economy WILL collapse, there will be war, and there will be a settlement of debt via landmass reallocation and blood. At the top of this list of mathematically impossible and unfixable Ponziconomies is the former United States of America. FORMER.

Democracy or representative democracy beyond the local level simply does not work. Stupid people should have say over their own lives and households, but stupid people should NOT have a say or vote over any system that affects other people. The ugly truth here is that there are within the human population spectrums of intelligence, practical ability, management skill, psychological fitness and moral fitness. The higher the level of governance, the more of these qualities leaders must possess, and a leader or leaders at the highest level should possess ALL of these qualities in abundance. Today, the world is literally being run by people who are mentally and functionally retarded, with many of them being sociopaths, psychopaths or at the very least malignant narcissists. The current political order will never, ever, ever fix any of this. Anyone who promulgates hope in "elections" is bearing false witness, no matter what their motivation.

Islam is an evil totalitarian political system from the deepest, blackest pit of hell, masquerading as a faux-religion. It was consciously set up that way, and must be exterminated from the face of the earth without remorse in order to save the souls trapped inside of it and to prevent any more people from being victimized and destroyed by it. Period. Anyone who says anything else is bearing false witness, no mater what their motivation.

These are just four macro examples. I could go on and on and on. Now, an interesting question for YOU. Why are you here? Why do you read me? Why are you all so attracted to my jeremiads? My stock and trade rhetorically is basically talking about horrific, ugly truths that no one else will talk about. Why are you attracted to that? Why do I get all of these emails and hand-written letters describing me as "a breath of fresh air" and the JOY people experience from reading my essays and watching my videos about horrifically ugly truths?

Because ladies and gentlemen, TRUTH is BEAUTIFUL. Even when it reveals something so ugly that you can barely stand to look at it.

If you haven't figured it out yet, the ultimate manifestation of this is Christ Crucified. This is why we have crucifixes - not just crosses but crucifixes with Christ nailed to the Cross. The crucifix is the most beautiful image in the world, because it reveals the most beautiful truth in the world by first making us push through horrific ugliness. The horrific ugliness is God Incarnate, perfect and sinless, whipped until He is skinned and nailed naked to a tree … BECAUSE WE PUT HIM THERE BY OUR SINS. How can this possibly be beautiful? Because it is the complete expression and manifestation of God's love for man. When man asks, "Is there a God and does He care about me?" the only way to fully answer that question is by showing him an image that is so horrific that it makes us wince and look away. But then we look back. And look. And look. And look. Because what we are looking at is TRUTH, and truth is beautiful, but only so long as we don't try to "clean it up" or make it "easier to swallow". When you try to make ugly truths either more palatable, or even try to obscure them all together, you are embracing a lie. God died a horrific death for your sins and thus you sins CAN be forgiven because first you ARE a sinner, and your sins are HORRIFIC - but you have to have the antecedent before the corollary: you have to have the CROSS before you can get to the Resurrection. The Catholic church HAS been massively infiltrated and suffered a massive destructive catastrophe in the last 50 years at the hands of Marxist-sodomites. Until this is acknowledged and acted upon with holy intransigence, there will be nothing but continued erosion and destruction. The global economy is going to collapse. The United States of America no longer exists. Beating dead horses is insane. Nothing will happen until civilization seeks a new horse. A major war is going to have to be fought to purge the earth of islam and save the people of good will trapped within it. Islam is a cancer, and cancers must either be cut out, or they will kill you.

Denial of ugly truths only leads to more and more ugliness. Denial of ugly truths is exactly what satan wants. Satan wants humanity to believe that there is no sin, there is no hell, everything is just fine in the Church and there is no problem - especially with sodomite priests and lesbian nuns, one plus one equals seven or thirty-four or whatever you want it to equal, government can solve all of our problems - not that there is anything wrong to begin with, infinite amounts of free stuff can be distributed and theft can be executed by oligarchs ad infinitum with zero consequences, and if we will all just hold hands and have a group hug we can all get along and coexist.

And so I now link to the very ugly and very serious report by the priest in Poland that has blown open the story on the horrific sodomite infiltration of the Catholic Church, and all I can say is YEEEEEE-HAAAAAAAWW!! YAY! YAY! YAY! FINALLY! THANKS BE TO GOD! WOOHOO! Because the Truth is a beautiful thing, no matter how ugly it appears on the surface, it must first be shouted from the mountaintops in order to have ANY HOPE of pushing through to the other side, which is nothing less than God Himself. The weekend before His Passion, Jesus went and stayed with His friend Lazarus (whom He had raised from the dead) and Lazarus' sisters Martha and Mary. Mary brought out a very expensive flask of ointment for the dead and applied it to Jesus' feet with her hair. The whole house was filled with the sweet smell of that ointment. And guess who gets all mouthy about this? Yep. Judas Iscariot - who already was planning to sell out Jesus, and had been planning on cashing in on Him since the miracle of the loaves and fishes a few days earlier. Specifically, when Jesus told the people that they must eat His Flesh and drink His Blood, and kept repeating it over and over and over again to be sure that everyone understood that He meant it literally, Judas (with urging from satan) decided that Our Lord was nuts and started planning to betray Him and profit from it. That whole episode is in John chapter 6. Read it.  

Back to Lazarus' house in John 12. Judas gets all holier-than-thou and complains that the flask of ointment could have been sold for 300 pence and "given to the poor". Does this not sound like the godless Marxist liberals of today who are so quick to tell everyone else what they should be doing with their money and assets, all in the name of the poor, of course?  

Then, an absolutely delightful verse - verse 6:  

"Now he said this, not because he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and having the purse, carried the things therein."  

Um, hello? The Holy Spirit is talking to us. Are we listening? That verse should make the hair on your arms stand up. Is this not a PERFECT mapping to our contemporary situation? You have a "disciple" who doesn't really believe in Jesus or what He says - he just pretends to because he thinks he can gain power and wealth by associating with Jesus for now. He's just working the "Jesus angle". But everything he is doing behind the scenes is working in direct opposition to Our Lord. Now, this "disciple" starts trying to appear pious and devout by pontificating that all wealth and resources should, by definition, be redistributed to "the poor". But in truth, he is just a thief.  

Dude. Can this be any more obvious?  

Now here is the key passage from Jesus Himself:  

"Jesus therefore said: Let her alone, that she may keep it against the day of My burial. For the poor you have always with you; but Me you have not always."  

First of all, Jesus says, "Let her alone." (Sinite illam.) Judas has appointed himself the arbiter of wealth and asset distribution and has decided that Mary's flask of ointment (or the cash value thereof) should have gone to the poor. And Jesus says, "Let her alone."  

It is hers to do with as she (and her family) sees fit, and they have seen fit to use it to anoint their beloved Jesus.  

Judas, sit down and shut your proto-Marxist piehole. THWAP! In the next phrase, Jesus explains economics in eight words (FIVE in Latin):

"For the poor you have always with you." 

(Pauperes enim semper habetis vobiscum.) What does He mean? Does He mean, "Bah, forget the poor! Live it up!"

Absolutely not. What He is explaining is that in all free societies wealth will always exist within a SPECTRUM.

Let's compare a "poor" person in the U.S. to a "poor" person in Bangladesh. A poor person in Bangladesh lives in the gutter without so much as a cardboard shelter to sleep under. They are sick from malnutrition and starvation. They probably dress in rags, and certainly do not own a pair of shoes. Bathing only occurs when they can immerse themselves in a river, which is opaque with sewage. They own nothing except the rags that they wear. Every day is a struggle to get a bit of clean water and enough food to merely survive. That's a poor person in Bangladesh.

What constitutes a "poor" person in the U.S.? A poor person in the U.S. does not have cable. A poor person in the U.S. does not have broadband internet access, and may not even own a PC. A poor person in the U.S. may have just within the last year or two finally switched from a cathode ray tube television to a flat screen, digital model. A poor person in the U.S. receives food stamps, medicaid and a welfare check. A poor person in the U.S. is probably overweight. A poor person in the U.S. drives a car that is so old that it came with a factory cassette player. A poor person in the U.S. lives either in a trailer or a HUD apartment complex. A poor person in the U.S. probably DOES have a cell phone.

Understand that on a percentage level, these two descriptions are equivalent. A "poor" person in the U.S. has a standard of living that would be considered luxurious in Bangladesh and other impoverished countries. The notions of "wealth" and "poverty", by logical and mathematical definition, exist within a SPECTRUM. And no matter what we do, that spectrum will always, always exist. That is what Jesus is saying. There will always be a top-end, and there will always be a bottom-end. In some nations (like Bangladesh), that spectrum is very broad and reaches very far down into poverty, indeed. There are billionaires in Bangladesh, and there are people starving in the gutters in rags. In the U.S., we certainly have a wealth spectrum, but the low end is much higher and the spectrum is much narrower. We have many billionaires, but our lower-end is nowhere NEAR as low as Bangladesh's.

The point is, no matter how much you bring up the bottom-end, there will ALWAYS, by mathematical definition, BE a bottom-end. If the bottom-end was a $100,000 per year household income and a $300,000 home in today's dollars, then a household with a $100,000 income and a $300,000 home would be considered "poor", called "poor", and Marxists would tell those "poor" that they were being "oppressed" and "deserved" and were "entitled to" a $500,000 annual household income and an $800,000 home. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

Someone is always going to have more money and assets than somebody else. It is impossible to have a free society wherein every person has exactly the same level of wealth. Someone has to be the business OWNER, and someone has to be the EMPLOYEE. Someone has to be the wage PAYER and someone has to be the wage EARNER. If everyone in a culture was economically equal at all times, there would be zero employment because no one would work for anyone except themselves. You can't have a company with 10,000 CEOs. Conversely, you can't have a company that is nothing but entry-level laborers. Someone has to be responsible. Someone has to sign the paychecks. Someone has to determine the course of the business. Someone has to risk their assets and wealth to start-up the company in the first place. And, at the other end, someone has to scrub the toilets. The only way to get true, complete equality of wealth would be to kill EVERYBODY.

Since we know from Jesus that there will always be a wealth spectrum, it is obviously disordered to eliminate said spectrum and collapse it down to a single point of "economic equality". To do that would collapse the society itself and result is chaos and poverty for ALL. (Ahem, MARXISM, TYRANNICAL OLIGARCHY, cough, cough.)

What then should the objective be? I think that the former-U.S. and other free-market capitalist societies were the closest humanity has ever been to the ideal, and though imperfect, are certainly pointed in the right direction. The ideal is a healthy wealth spectrum that is always moving higher through growth and moral technological advancements and innovations, is open-ended on the top side, but has an intrinsic morality such that the top-end of the wealth spectrum always makes certain that the bottom end advances apace and that the spectrum maintains its proportional width - or even narrows a bit. This is achieved through personal charity AND through a moral, lawful society that allows for movement both up AND down the spectrum.

The top-end cooperates with the bottom end to enable upward mobility for those who work hard, and are innovative. Conversely, if someone on the top-end does not work hard or is dishonest in his dealings, he can and will fail and slide back down the spectrum.

This freedom of movement within the spectrum - both up AND down - is essential. Trapping people on the low-end (ahem, cough, WELFARE STATE, CLOWARD-PIVEN STRATEGY, OBAMA REGIME, cough) is equally as immoral as the disgusting patrician upper-classes who think themselves immune from morality, the rule of law or personal responsibility (ahem, cough, OBAMA REGIME AND ENTIRE POLITICAL CLASS, cough, cough).

So, there you go. Economics as explained by our Blessed Lord in five little words while He was hanging out at His friends' house having supper the weekend before He died. And proof that Judas Iscariot was the intellectual father of Marxism and of scumbag politicians in general.

Final Post: Stick a fork in America.

If Romney had won decisively, I might have held out just a little bit of hope for America.  Not because I think Mittens is any great savior, but because we would have seen an absolute repudiation of the Oppressive worldview.

Ann's right, and she's been right for months.  THE AMERICAN REPUBLIC IS DEAD.  More people want free stuff than care where it comes from, or who has to pay for it.  More people would rather be told what to think, than think for themselves.  More people care more about the cult of personality than the rule of law.

We're screwed.  We've passed the point of no return.  Sorry, Lord--we had our chance and we pissed it away.  I humbly beg of You that we may learn from this failure and get it right the next time, whenever--or if ever--that may be.

Prepare and pray, y'all.  The shit is officially on.

Maximum Culpability: Why God's Wrath is Certain

There are still people, millions and millions of them, who honestly believe that this nation, economy, culture, society, whatever you want to call it, is salvageable and can be turned around. There are still people who, after all of this, still think that ELECTIONS and Washington D.C. will lead us all to the Elysian Fields and pastures of plenty. These people honestly believe that Mitt Romney can and will "fix everything", even though Mitt Romney has actually implemented EVERYTHING people are screaming about Obama attempting, such as RomneyCare (which IS ObamaCare), insurance mandates, contraception mandates, zero-copay abortion on demand, sodomite marriage and assault rifle bans, and has yet to even acknowledge the mathematical impossibility of government spending. These people still believe that Darryl Issa and Allen West will suddenly re-assert the Rule of Law on November 7th, or something. You know, just like they swore up and down that these same people would "stop Obama" and "turn Washington around" after the 2010 elections.

Anyone who still believes this, very simply, has their head up their ass to their shoulders.

Not only will Mitt Romney, Darryl Issa, Michelle Bachmann and Allen West NOT do ANYTHING of any substance if "elected", they CAN'T do anything. It is already too far gone. The economy is MATHEMATICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to fix. $222 trillion in unfunded government mandates over the next 75 years. At minimum $1.4 quadrillion in global derivatives exposure. Thousands of MANPADS and millions of pounds of American weaponry are now in the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood / al Qaeda thanks to Obama's Libyan gunrunning. Iran will have an atomic arsenal, if they don't have one already, either self-produced or procured from Pakistan or the old Soviet arsenal. 60 million babies have already been killed. That blood is spilled. You can't ever bring them back.

Now to the point of this essay. God's wrath cannot be assuaged at this point because we, the people of the former United States and Western Civilization, are the most guilty, culpable, iniquitous society to ever exist by many orders of magnitude. In terms of our guilt, we are far, far guiltier than the people of late Rome. There were aspects of late Roman culture that were prima facie worse than our culture, specifically the torture blood sports, but we are far guiltier than the late Romans, and thus deserve far, far worse. And that is exactly what we are going to get.

How can we be orders of magnitude guiltier than the late Romans, or any other culture for that matter?

Because we are willfully ignorant due to extreme intellectual and especially moral laziness. If there was ever a group to whom the words "YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER" applied, it is us. And we have absolutely, positively no excuse whatsoever for our ignorance.

1. We were a free culture. This isn't Saudi Arabia or North Korea, so save me your bullshit excuses. We have been free to read ANYTHING, learn ANYTHING, subscribe to ANYTHING. This has been the most licensed culture in all of human history. Male, female, white, brown, old, young, you name it. There hasn't even been a military draft in this country for forty years. We have had the near-universal societal leisure to pursue and ponder anything and everything. And we have chosen Honey Boo Boo, the Kardashians, and mentally retarded giants who chase balls in stadiums like dogs. We have chosen to be ignorant losers who revel and glory in our own inhuman stupidity, when we could have chosen to be excellent.

2. We are wealthy. We are the wealthiest culture ever to exist. In all other cultures poverty has meant starvation, disease brought on by filth, and daily hard labor just to survive. In this culture, poverty means that your TV is under 42" and that your ObamaPhone is running Android Version 3, not Version 4. No one starves to death here. People don't die from ingesting human fecal matter in their drinking water. The necessities are totally taken care of, and thus people are free to spend the vast majority of their lives at leisure. Even our jobs are leisure, because we all get to choose what it is that we do for a living. Neither family ties nor the government have mandated, under pain of death, what any of us do vocationally. Whatever it is that you are doing or have done vocationally, you chose it and consented to it, and you were free to pursue your own interests. Since our culture has been so wealthy, most people have been able to support themselves with a 40 hour workweek, leaving in excess of 40 hours per week for pure leisure, free to pursue and ponder anything and everything.

3. We could have been educated. We are not. Most people in this culture, even though education was possible, are totally uneducated, and contra-educated. I would classify this culture as "barely literate". People can read and sound out a small core vocabulary of words, but there is very little comprehension of what is read, and that which is read is either ignorant, insipid or morally degenerated. What people are almost universally incapable of and totally unwilling to do is think for themselves - not just to be spoonfed "answers", but to actually ponder and parse information, to independently synthesize data, make connections, and to think through logical progressions. I don't care how many bee-ess college degrees you have, because all "education" today consists of is pumping and dumping information onto multiple-choice tests and occasionally faking a short-answer or occasional paper. That isn't education. That's beta pack animals learning the gestures of submission to the alpha. This culture is operating just epsilon above the animal plane - and those are the "college educated" people. The inner cities are operating on the purely animal level. But we COULD have been the most truly educated culture ever.

4. Every single one of you reading this has the sum of human knowledge literally at his fingertips. The most damning aspect of the internet won't be the pornography, I suspect. The internet pins every single one of us into moral corner because it completely removes any ability to argue that "I didn't know - I didn't have the information."

I gave a priest a thorough rhetorical beating a few years ago because he said something really stupid in a public and official setting that could have been disproved and illuminated in about seven seconds with a simple google, or any search engine, query. Whether you are a priest or a professor, or a politician or a wild-eyed blogger, there is NO EXCUSE for making incorrect public statements, no matter how trivial. If you speak, you have a grave moral obligation to be right, that is to speak the Truth. The cascading consequences of factual and moral errors are massive and horrifying, and we will only see those consequences at the General Judgment. When you have the sum of human knowledge at your fingertips, and thus the potential to extrapolate BEYOND the sum of human knowledge, thus expanding the domain of human knowledge itself; when you have been given that ability and are still so lazy that you can't even get the already-known facts-at-your-fingertips right, there will be hell to pay for that sloth.

As an aside, I am at this point reminded of Leon Panetta's lame-ass lying excuse that no help was sent into Benghazi because they "didn't have enough information." As if a live, real-time video feed from a drone circling directly overhead "wasn't enough information". Leon Panetta is lying, and justice will be done upon him in this life or the next, but everyone else in this culture who tries to claim that "we didn't know" will deserve exactly the same wrath.

5. Finally, we have far more guilt and culpability than any other culture because we WERE a Christian culture and turned our back on God with full knowledge and conscious forethought. The Romans of the 4th century were pagans who either knew very little or nothing at all of Christ. They had the Natural Law as their only guide. We have Christ Himself, physically present in the Eucharist, with our culture *allegedly* built on Him, and yet we have utterly denied and rejected Him and have reverted all the way back to the worst pagan cultures. The only revolt that is worse in enormity and scope is the revolt of Lucifer. Even the Jews of the Old Testament in all of their many episodes of falling away from God, didn't have the knowledge of Christ (obviously, because the Incarnation had not yet happened) and did not have the Physical Presence of God Himself to be taken into their own bodies, in the Eucharist.

We have nailed Christ to the Cross, and when He looks at us and asks us why, we have the unmitigated gall to say, "It's not my fault. I didn't see You there. You should have spoken up."

WE are going to burn like no other culture has burned before, including Rome, because we have, by far, the most guilt. Ignorance due to laziness in the face of unprecedented freedom and license, wealth and leisure time, potential education, technology and availability of information, and the knowledge of and physical presence of Christ Himself is why we must and we will burn. No one has ever, ever deserved it more.

Yep.  By our own foolishness, ignorance and willingness to be led astray by mindless distractions, we have destroyed the very pinnacle of human achievement.  When we decided that convenience was more important than liberty, we killed this country. 

America's dead, and we have only ourselves to blame.  Me included.  And I fear that what's going to happen to us will make the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah look like a house party.
