Doug Giles, like myself, also knows what it's like to be a thug...and the consequences that face you when you are.

During my time of gleefully following el Diablo’s lead, I shot at people and had guns drawn on me. One summer night back in 1978, my buddies and I were ripping off a boat and were busted red-handed by the home owner who pulled out a pump shotgun, racked a round, but was unable to get off a shot because the direction in which I ran blocked his sight picture and I was able to get away.

If I would have been shot and killed that evening it would have sucked, but would have been a just punishment because my life choices put me in a direct path of destruction.

If I would have died of an overdose or from a crime that I had committed, I would hope to God that no one would stand over my casket and blame other people, or culture, or lack of education, or my neighborhood, or some other people group because that stuff was all on me. I would hope my life would have become a proverb, a veritable deterrent to aberrant behavior.

RTWT.  If this is the path you choose to walk, then the only one responsible for your incarceration, overdose or untimely demise is you.  "Society" didn't fail you--you failed yourself.

Now, this is how you call hypocrites out.

I have been invited to the NAACP Freedom Fund Awards Banquet and
have been asked to sponsor the event financially. I will not be doing
either but wanted to explain my concerns and the reasons for my
decision. Frankly, I believe the NAACP locally and nationally loses
credibility when it picks and chooses which issues it rallies around and
embraces what often appears to be a double standard relative to race and
ethnicity. I am citing two (2) local and recent examples of my concern.

Tragically, record numbers of young, black males have been gunned down
in the streets of Fort Myers in an epidemic of alarming proportions over
the last few years. In virtually every instance the killer was also black
and the majority of those cases remain open. Many more black citizens
have been injured and were lucky to survive similar circumstances. To
date, I am unaware of any appreciable attention or public outcry the
NAACP locally­ or nationally have afforded these issues in our own,
proverbial backyard. '

Conversely, you immediately inserted yourself and the Lee County Branch
in the matter of Trayvon Martin’s tragic death in a city hours from ours
and publically declared that matter to have been mishandled by the police
while expressing your intention to travel to Sanford sporting a “hoodie.”

Well done, Sir.

UPDATE:  I'm not going to say the response was predictable, but there are as-yet-undiscovered tribes in the heart of the Amazon jungle who could have seen this coming.

“The feedback I’m receiving via email, phone calls texts and what we’ve all seen on [NBC2] Facebook posting, your Facebook postings right now are running about 75%-25% in my favor,” Scott said.

The NAACP says this debate is far from over. They are sending the letter to Governor Rick Scott’s office and the national office of the NAACP.

As for having Scott removed from office – Scott won his last re-election in 2012 with 66% of the vote. He also noted in an email Thursday evening that he’s been awarded the local NAACP’s top honor twice in his eight years in office.

All together now:  "WAAAAAAAAHHH!!!  RAAAACIISST!!!"  Guess the petulant children at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Race Baiters need a time-out.

Motivated by hate

That description seems to apply more to Zimmerman's persecutors than the man himself.

Zimmerman was one of two men who came to the aid of a family of four — two parents and two children — trapped inside a blue Ford Explorer SUV that had rolled over after traveling off the highway in Sanford, Fla. at approximately 5:45 p.m. Thursday, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

The crash occurred at the intersection of I-4 and route Route 46, police said. The crash site is less than a mile from where Zimmerman shot Martin.

By the time police arrived, two people – including Zimmerman – had already helped the family get out of the overturned car, the sheriff’s office said. No one was reported to be injured.

So, all you people screaming death threats, rioting and looting "fo' Trayvon..."

How would you feel if hundreds of armed apparatchiks from the FBI and other police agencies were dispatched after the trial to continue to hound you, under orders of the chief law officer of the land?

How would you feel if he, acting under orders of his boss in the White House, dispatched investigators around your neighborhood, digging into your past, perhaps looking into your emails and social media (there are precedents), soliciting any idle rumors and unprovable claims about your attitudes, ideas, and temperament from everyone you know now or had ever known; from old lovers or spouses who might bear some grudge against you; from any past employer you ever argued with or who may have fired you; from any casual acquaintance who might want his 15 minutes of celebrity fame on an MSNBC show hosted by the likes of Al Sharpton, or perhaps in exchange for the promise of some government reward...at your expense?

Potentially, we are all George Zimmerman.

Trayvon was a suicide.

Marooned in Marin reports that Oakland is rioting.  Of course, anyone familiar with Oakland knows that they'll take any excuse to riot, so it'll be interesting to see whether this spreads to reasonably levelheaded areas.  Meanwhile, MiM's commentary is worth a read:

This whole case and trial is a tragedy.  The Martin family does not have their son, Zimmerman will probably not have any semblance of a real life, having to shake off all the attacks he received.

And why?

Because certain people use race as a way to divide our nation for their own benefit.  If Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackass were real "Reverends," they'd have the humanity to realize we're all children of God.  Instead, they've done nothing but foment racial resentment so they can profit off of it.

The same goes for President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder. They've both acted stupidly by inserting themselves into this case.

But none of these people will talk about the black on black violence in areas like Chicago, which occurs despite the strict gun control laws.  Because stoking racial resentment and division is more important.

And that is the tragedy.

It wasn’t “just” because they didn’t want to embarrass the Socialist Halfrican Extremist in the White House by reporting on his willful, knowing export of automatic weapons to Mexican drug lords, it was also because they knew full well that he did it because the Democrat Socialist Meme of the U.S. as the arsenal of foreign murderers wasn’t working, so he got his Federal Goons to do the job that law-abiding American gun sellers just wouldn’t do.

It is also no “accident” that the Socialist OgabeMedia have jumped to conclusions, without a single exception, when it came to nutjobs gunning down innocents, proclaiming every single incident as “yet another example of right wing extremist gun nut culture” until they were proven wrong. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

You can be wrong once or twice and admit you jumped the gun (pun intended), but you can’t be wrong every single time, making no official, public admission of fault, and claim it wasn’t deliberate.

NoOneOfAnyImport hipped me to this article in a comment a couple of posts back (sorry it took me this long to read it!) and this may be one of the most insightful dissections of America's racial strife in, like, EVER.

Here’s the thing: I think that certain types of tribalism are beneficial to those within and even without some sets of tribal boundaries. Some years back, Bill Whittle famously expounded on the tribe of Sheepdogs, those rough men—and, sometimes, women--who make it their business to protect sheep from the wolves of this world. “You choose your tribe,” said Bill, and allowing oneself that choice is the province of rational actors. This isn’t to say that one should separate self from one’s racial, ethnic, national, or ideological tribe. However, it is to say that blindly following each one of the presumed norms of the tribe into which one was born is folly and it is the province of tribal actors. That is the place where into which all too many of my fellow black Americans find ourselves locked, mentally and emotionally.

Through this mindset, black Americans have become the organized Left's shock troops in latter’s war against America and all too many of us have become the Left's overseers, tasked to force the "deserters" back into formation using the tools of ridicule and shame. I almost said that the Left was at war with black people, but the Left doesn't esteem blacks enough to deem us as their enemies. We are merely tools to be used for the task at hand—to foment violent racial discord which will have to be put down using infinitely stronger government violence--and to be discarded when the task is completed, assuming that there will be any of us left after the New Civil War. And we let ourselves be used for one reason: tribal vengeance; for slavery and for oppression.

I submit that the Obama Administration, representing black Americans and no others, declared a tribal war against white Americans when Attorney General Eric Holder refused to prosecute members of the New Black Panther Party after the latter's blatant violation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The Department of Justice’s inaction sent a message mirroring that of the US Supreme Court Dred Scott decision (1857): that the white man has no rights which the black man is bound to respect. Leftist ideology has been inculcated into black Americans for quite some time now and one of the strategies of this process has been to keep alive racial anger and the desire for tribal vengeance for past oppression. The Obama Administration's inaction in the above matter was merely a formal declaration, but the anger has long been simmering and, all too often, it boils over. Am I exaggerating? I don’t think so. And I think that many Americans have gotten the message.

(Do I even have to point out that Baldilocks is now on TIPB?)  I wonder if the whole 'tribal thought' thing also renders its subscribers incapable of recognizing others as individuals, hence the inability of Black activists to see any White person--no matter their actions--as anything other than an enemy.

On the subject, Mr. Zimmerman has been charged with 2nd-Degree Murder.  Racists are calling for vigilante violence.  And the situation deteriorates further with every word out of the mouths of scumbag racebaiters and every inaction from our misnamed Department of Justice.

Pray and prepare, folks.  I fear the shit's about to get real.

Is there a rule of law, or not?

There is no "other option"; stating that if you don't get the results you want you will ignore the justice system is open and notorious sedition.

Definition:
1. incitement of discontent or rebellion against a government.
2. any action, especially in speech or writing, promoting such discontent or rebellion.
3. Archaic . rebellious disorder.

Refusal to abide the judicial system if it doesn't give you the results you want is the very definition of insurrection. 

So, if Ms. Pelosi isn't brought up on charges for this, does that mean there's no longer any rule of law?  After all, if our Lords and Masters elected officials don't have to observe it, then neither do we.

It works both ways, folks.  Just noting that logical point...

Well first this proves this video was not released by the police department. Nor was it leaked by the police department or it would have been footage from the actual digital recording. They would not release footage from recording a monitor showing the footage, they would just copy the recorded image on DVD and present.

This is stolen and intentionally leaked “unauthorized” video footage from someone recording it from a monitor inside the Police Department. Either by an employee of the police dept., or by a journalist who convinced an employee within the police dept to film it.

So why steal, sneak, and release the video? and why via ABC ? Who does this benefit? That’s the bigger type of question those of us who have been following the media manipulation want to know.

Notice how the comment section is infested with Obamanoid/Leftist trolls?  They're running scared, people.  We've got them cold busted in their lies, and they're frantically trying to misdirect, obfuscate and bullshit their way out of it.

Lies and the lying liars who publish them

Over at the Conservative Treehouse, a staggeringly detailed deconstruction of the LameStream Media's half-truths, insinuations and full-on lies (up to and including doctored photos) on the Martin/Zimmerman case is taking place.

When the truth is being presented, one does not have to work so hard to control, portray obfuscate and spin. The media have been working very hard because the media has not been presenting ‘the truth’.

But now, against the shere weight of the truthtelling, research, and presentation of facts by the New Media, the Legacy media is beginning to backtrack. Their false construction is crumbling around them.

However, we are not going to let them just skulk back into the shadows. They, the media, created this mess - and make no mistake, this is a huge mistake – and now they are going to be forced to own it. All of it.

Read it.  All the way through.  If you can do that, and still put the slightest bit of trust in the "Fourth Estate" Fifth Column, there is absolutely no hope for you.
