Why do people still fall for this?

“Government today is bigger and more unconstitutional than it was before the last election.”

If you could travel through time, you could make that statement in any of the last 100 years and you’d almost never be wrong.

“Voting the bums out” has proven to be a complete and utter failure as a strategy.

And yet, fools still think that by sending a different pack of shitheads and liars to Washington, they're going to get things done.  How's that been workin' for ya?

Stand up as a man, a household, a community, a county, a state, a region.  But don't think you'll ever get anything out of DC at this point but lies, oppression and tyranny.

  1. I totally agree. At this point, it's absolutely futile.

  2. It's a disappointment to learn that your parents are not infallible, but to finally "accept" [read: realize and/or understand] that the government is only there as a roadblock and there is no real way to "vote them out", well... that's just liberating!

I frequently read/comment on Jay G's blog--any chance I could contact you offline? I am looking to relocate to AZ and would like a chance to talk to some "natives" or transplants before I actually move. Thanks!

    1. Contact info is helpful, yes? I can be reached at astrangiato at gmail dot com.
