Something's happening here...

...what it is, is a damn good thing.

It's been said, by better men than I, that America is more than just a place. Though it is a physical location, with borders, topography, resources and varied subcultures, it is something else as well.

America is a state of mind.

America is a love of liberty.

America is outrage at injustice.

America lives in the heart of everyone who instinctively understands what it means to spit in the eye of tyranny, and is prepared to do just that.

It lives in the heart of an unidentified Saudi woman who decided she wasn't going to put up with harassment from some nitpicking, self-important, micro-dicked Islamofacist...and beat the living crap out of him.

When a Saudi religious policeman sauntered about an amusement park in the eastern Saudi Arabian city of Al-Mubarraz looking for unmarried couples illegally socializing, he probably wasn’t expecting much opposition. But when he approached a young, 20-something couple meandering through the park together, he received an unprecedented whooping.

A member of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, the Saudi religious police known locally as the Hai’a, asked the couple to confirm their identities and relationship to one another, as it is a crime in Saudi Arabia for unmarried men and women to mix.

For unknown reasons, the young man collapsed upon being questioned by the cop. According to the Saudi daily Okaz, the woman then allegedly laid into the religious policeman, punching him repeatedly, and leaving him to be taken to the hospital with bruises across his body and face.

Her 'gentleman' friend apparently fainted at the mere concept of being upbraided by this uptight caveman busybody, but our heroine drew a line in the desert sand and took the bastard to the cleaners. Shari'a law institutionalizes the victimization and oppression of women from birth, but it couldn't quench the spark of liberty in this woman's soul.

This post is included in 'Conservative Hotties,' which might make some of you scratch your heads. I tell you now, there's more to being 'hot' than just physical appearance. We may never know her name, and she may well face horrendous consequences for her stand against evil. But even if she never sets foot on our shores, I consider her a True American.

Well done, ma'am. Well done, indeed.
