Sundance Cracker gives us a Christmas story that really puts things into perspective. No matter how tough things are, if you live in the United States of America in this day and age, you really aren't doing that badly by both the perspective of the rest of the world and history.
Dear Lord, I humbly thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon me; a wonderful wife, a good job, great friends, good health, and--above all--the opportunities and benefits of America, Your childrens' greatest achievement. Please help me, and all of us, to never forget how blessed we are to have so much that others have never had, and many still have not. Remind us, Your children, what is truly important; not the latest and greatest toy, but love, compassion and faith.
